[Side note: please excuse my mess of writing and punctuation. I don't have any excuses. I'm just lazy and dont wanna fix it]
sapnap awoke to a bell. the dawn bell. he sat up. that bell was an everyday thing. it signified the rise of the sun. he did NOT feel good not one bit. he grumbled hiding under the blankets. he hated this. was this because of his dip in the water yesterday?
'Dip? more like diving.' sapnap rolled his eyes at himself
he didn't move until a knock came to his door. he called out with a raspy voice
"...yeah..?"
"sire, are you okay, you do not sound very well."
it was a maid. he just mumbled something. he heard the door open. but he didn't look up. he heard her footsteps retreating, perhaps she would tell a butler. or his fathers. either way. sapnap hate his body right now.
sapnap had fallen asleep again. when he woke up. he jumped feeling a hand against his fore head. he opened his eyes to see his dad. skeppy looked angry and concerned. clearly. his stunt of yesterday was figured out. but his dad held a deep concern for his only son.
"sapnap. what did you do."
Sapnap just let out mumble. closing his eyes. he didn't know if he could stand up to his dad and admit he snuck out. he didn't know why they didn't want him outside the castle.
skeppy sighed. this would get them no where. if sapnap didn't want to talk. there was no getting him to talk. skeppys ordered the maid to call for a medic. just to make sure it was a normal sickness and not from poison.
sapnap woke up again many hours later. he didn't know how long he was out for. he felt just a little weak. he was really regretting taking a boat right now. the water was definetly messing with him right now. there was a fire going. the blankets having been tripled ontop of him. he found himself wishing he had said his real name to Karl. or even just to see him again!
sapnap went to sit up. feeling a hand land on his shoulder. he looked up.
"....dad...?"
Skeppy had a stern look. he pushed sapnap back onto the bed.
". you snuck out didn't you. you fell into water."
sapnap felt just the smallest hint of guilt. he didn't like when his fathers were upset with him.
"..yeah I did..."
skeppy sighed. before pulling sapnap into a hug. skeppy didn't want to imagine what could have happened. what if sapnap didn't make it home? what if the essempi found him and took him? what if they hadn't caught onto sapnap weakening?
the questions were endless. skeppys felt his heart fill with terror and worry.
"never. never do that again okay?"
sapnap didn't want to agree. maybe... maybe he can just say okay.. but do it again. but he would have to make sure he didn't fall into any water this time..
"...okay dad.. I wont..."
