The morning was gloomy, heavy clouds lingering above Mondstadt with the promise of a storm. Thunder rumbled in the distance, and the wind tugged at the banners hanging from the city walls. Lisa strolled leisurely through the streets, her Misdreavus floating beside her, the ghostly Pokémon's eyes gleaming with curiosity as they watched the hustle and bustle of the early risers in Mondstadt.
"My, my, it seems like it's going to be quite the storm today," Lisa said, glancing up at the sky. She looked at Misdreavus, who cooed in response, a mischievous grin on its face. Lisa chuckled softly, patting Misdreavus gently. "Don't get too excited, darling. We're just running some errands today—nothing too thrilling."
As Lisa made her way towards the market, she noticed a familiar figure standing near the Pokémon shop—it was Razor, the wild boy of Mondstadt. Razor had a peculiar look on his face, a mix of curiosity and confusion. Standing next to him was Hiroshi, who appeared to be explaining something rather animatedly.
Intrigued, Lisa changed course and approached the duo. As she drew closer, she could hear snippets of their conversation.
"You see, Razor, Pokémon aren't just animals—they're partners," Hiroshi was saying, gesturing to the Poké Balls lined up in his shop. "They're here to help you, and they understand you in ways that are quite special."
Razor frowned, his gaze shifting to the Poké Balls, then to Hiroshi, then back to the shop. "Razor… not understand. These creatures… like Lupical?"
Hiroshi smiled, nodding. "In a way, yes. They're like family, and they can grow to be a part of your Lupical." He picked up a Poké Ball and held it out to Razor. "How about you try meeting one for yourself? I think you'll understand better once you feel that connection."
Razor hesitated, looking at the ball as if it were something foreign and mysterious. His brows furrowed, and his amber eyes narrowed. Lisa decided it was time to intervene, a playful smile forming on her lips.
"Oh, Razor, darling," Lisa called out, approaching the two. "It seems you're in quite the predicament. Perhaps I could be of assistance?"
Razor looked over at Lisa, his expression softening slightly. "Lisa… help? Razor not sure… about ball."
Lisa gave Hiroshi a knowing smile before turning to Razor. "There's nothing to worry about, dear. Pokémon are just like us—they have feelings, and they want to be your friend. Think of it as meeting a new member of your family." She knelt down, placing a hand on Razor's shoulder. "Go ahead, take it. I'm sure you'll find a friend in there."
Razor took a deep breath, his gaze shifting back to the Poké Ball in Hiroshi's hand. With a hesitant movement, he reached out and took it. The ball felt cold and smooth in his hand, and he stared at it for a moment before looking up at Hiroshi, who nodded encouragingly.
"Go on," Hiroshi said gently. "Let's see who's waiting to meet you."
Razor took another deep breath, then pressed the button on the Poké Ball. A flash of light erupted from the ball, and a small, canine-like creature appeared. It had shaggy green fur, with electric sparks crackling around its paws. The Electrike shook itself, then looked up at Razor, its eyes wide and curious.
Razor's eyes widened in awe, and he crouched down to get a better look at the Pokémon. "Wolf… but not wolf," he muttered, reaching out cautiously. Electrike sniffed his hand, then gave it a gentle nuzzle, sparks dancing off its fur and onto Razor's fingertips.
Lisa smiled, her eyes softening at the sight. "See, Razor? It likes you already."
Razor's lips slowly curled into a smile, and he patted Electrike's head gently. "Electric… wolf. Razor like."
Hiroshi clapped his hands, his smile brightening. "Electrike is a great partner, Razor. It's got energy and spirit, just like you. I think you two will get along wonderfully."
Razor nodded, his gaze never leaving Electrike. The Pokémon barked playfully, sparks flying from its mouth as it did. Razor laughed, the sound echoing in the quiet morning, and Lisa couldn't help but smile.

Later that day, Lisa was sitting outside of the Knights of Favonius headquarters, enjoying a rare moment of peace. Misdreavus floated lazily above her, occasionally drifting close enough to tug playfully on a strand of Lisa's hair. Lisa sighed contentedly, closing her eyes as the distant rumble of thunder filled the air.
"Seems like quite the storm is brewing," she murmured, glancing up at the darkening sky. "What do you think, Misdreavus? Should we stay outside a little longer, or find somewhere cozier to rest?"
Misdreavus let out a soft giggle, its ghostly form swirling around Lisa as if urging her to stay out and enjoy the storm. Lisa smiled, about to reply, when she heard footsteps approaching. She opened her eyes to see Razor and his new partner, Electrike, running towards her.
"Lisa! Lisa!" Razor called, his voice excited. He skidded to a stop in front of her, Electrike by his side, panting slightly. "Razor… need help."
Lisa raised an eyebrow, amused. "Oh? What seems to be the trouble, Razor?"
Razor scratched his head, looking a little embarrassed. "Electric wolf… Electrike… it make lightning, but… Razor not know how to control."
Electrike barked, as if agreeing, and small sparks of electricity jumped from its fur, crackling in the air around them. Lisa chuckled, standing up and brushing off her skirt. "Ah, I see. Electrike's electricity can be a bit much to handle, can't it? Don't worry, dear. Let's see what we can do."
Lisa led Razor and Electrike to an open area just outside the city gates, where they would have more space. She looked at Razor, then at Electrike, her eyes glinting with determination. "Alright, Razor. Pokémon respond well to guidance and patience. Electrike's electricity is a part of who it is—you just have to help it learn how to use it properly."
Razor looked at Electrike, who was watching him intently, sparks still crackling around its paws. He took a deep breath, nodding. "Razor… try. What do?"
Lisa smiled. "Let's start simple. Electrike needs to release its energy, so let's have it practice using its electricity in a controlled way. Try giving it a command—tell it to use Thunder Wave, but make sure to keep your voice calm and steady."
Razor nodded, turning to Electrike. He crouched down, meeting the Pokémon's gaze. "Electrike… use Thunder Wave. Slowly."
Electrike barked, then focused, its body tensing as electricity began to gather around it. The sparks grew brighter, crackling louder, and Razor watched intently, his eyes narrowing in concentration.
"That's it, Electrike. Slowly," Lisa encouraged, her voice calm.
Electrike let out a bark, releasing the electricity in a wave that spread out across the ground, the energy dissipating harmlessly into the earth. Razor's eyes widened in amazement, and he looked at Lisa, a broad smile breaking across his face.
"It worked!" Razor exclaimed, patting Electrike on the head. "Good wolf… good Electrike."
Lisa nodded approvingly. "Well done, Razor. See? It's all about trust and patience. Electrike just needs your guidance, and the two of you will become an unstoppable team."
Razor stood up, his eyes shining with determination. "Razor… learn. Razor teach Electrike. We… become strong."
Lisa smiled, watching as Razor and Electrike practiced a few more times, each attempt more controlled than the last. The bond between them was already growing, and it warmed her heart to see Razor so happy.

As the storm finally rolled in, rain began to fall over Mondstadt, and Lisa and Razor made their way back into the city. Razor had Electrike by his side, the Pokémon's fur slightly damp but its spirit undiminished. Lisa held an umbrella, keeping herself and Misdreavus dry as they walked.
"Lisa," Razor said suddenly, his voice softer. "Thank you. Razor… not good with words, but… you help Razor. Razor grateful."
Lisa looked at him, her expression gentle. "There's no need to thank me, dear. We're all here to help each other, after all. Besides," she added with a playful smile, "it's quite entertaining watching you and Electrike learn together."
Razor smiled, a rare but genuine expression that made Lisa's heart swell with warmth. The group continued their walk, the rain pattering softly around them, and Lisa knew that despite the gloomy weather, today had been a bright day for Razor's heart.
Back at the Pokémon shop, Hiroshi watched as the storm grew heavier, his eyes thoughtful. Zekrom stood beside him, its gaze fixed on the distant horizon.
"It seems Razor found a partner today," Hiroshi said, his voice filled with pride.
Zekrom nodded, its deep voice rumbling. "The boy has strength—much like lightning. He will learn to harness it, just as he learns to guide his partner."
Hiroshi smiled, nodding in agreement. "Yes. They'll be just fine." He looked out at the storm, feeling the excitement of what lay ahead—knowing that each day brought new bonds, new adventures, and new wonders to Mondstadt.
