Lucy's eyes widened in shock.
To her, Natsu was already something of a monster. But seeing Su Yan crash head-on into a train and emerge unharmed, she realized that compared to Su Yan, Natsu was only a small fry. Su Yan was the real beast. She had thought Su Yan was the only "normal" one in Fairy Tail, but it turned out he was the most extraordinary of them all.
"Su Yan just keeps getting stronger," Erza murmured, watching Su Yan's effortless collision with the train. She'd known him since childhood and remembered when his strength was simply impressive, not absurd. But as time passed, his abilities had grown beyond anything she could have imagined.
"Love~!" said Happy, watching Su Yan with admiration.
Natsu had always been thrilled to watch Su Yan, Erza, and Mira duel, bringing Happy along every time. He and Happy were among the few who truly understood just how overwhelmingly powerful Su Yan was.
Perhaps it was because of the Kaido template he'd inherited, but Su Yan seemed to relish risky situations—like colliding with a speeding train.
Meanwhile, the members of Eisenwald regrouped on the overturned train, discussing their plans after learning Kageyama had run into members of Fairy Tail.
The plan was critical, and they couldn't afford any interference. They decided to trap the Fairy Tail members at the next station, allowing Erigor to take the cursed song and assassinate the leaders of the local guild alliance, while the others would delay or eliminate Fairy Tail.
Just as they finalized the plan, a powerful jolt shook the train, sending everyone tumbling forward.
"Argh!"
"Oof!" ...
Soon, the magicians scrambled out of the wrecked carriage, dazed and bruised.
"Ouch! What just happened?"
"Damn it! How could the train derail?!"
Despite the accident, most magicians were protected by their magic, so only a few were badly hurt; the rest were just rattled.
"Look at all of them," Lucy whispered, unnerved by the sheer number of Eisenwald members.
Then, a voice echoed, "Oh? So many of you are still alive? Tough crowd!"
Everyone looked toward the voice and saw a young man standing nearby, calm and confident.
"Who are you?!" Erigor demanded, his voice heavy.
"Me?" Su Yan pointed to himself with a grin. "I'm the victim here! You guys ran over me with your train."
"What?!" The Eisenwald members' expressions turned to shock.
"You b*****d! So it was you!"
Erigor's face twisted in anger, a thin line of blood running down his forehead from the crash. He was furious; being thrown from a moving train was just as irritating as having a meal interrupted.
"Sir Erigor! Look at his arm!" one of the Eisenwald members pointed out, noticing the blue Fairy Tail guild crest on Su Yan's left arm.
"Fairy Tail," Erza said, stepping forward. Her expression was fierce. "What's your objective? Answer, or I won't let you off."
Erigor and his men scowled. They recognized Erza immediately. Her striking beauty made her hard to forget, and her reputation preceded her wherever she went.
"Won't let us off?" Erigor's voice rose in anger. "You've interfered with our plans, hurt our members, and now you think you can threaten us? Don't get cocky, Fairy Tail brats! Kill them!"
At Erigor's command, Eisenwald members drew their magical weapons and charged toward Su Yan.
"Su Yan! Be careful!" Lucy cried, alarmed by the onslaught of enemies.
"Don't worry! He's Su Yan!" Happy reassured her with a smile.
With a flurry of attacks, magic swords struck Su Yan's body, but he remained unfazed.
"Got him!" a few Eisenwald members cheered—until they noticed that their weapons hadn't even scratched him.
"How… is this possible?"
Su Yan flashed them a smile and then swung his mace.
*Bam! Bam! Bam!*
"Aaaah!"
The Eisenwald members surrounding Su Yan were flung backward, screaming as they flew through the air.
"You hit me with a train, didn't kill me, and now you want to fight? The Dark Guild lives up to its name." Su Yan raised his mace, stepping forward without hesitation. "It's time for all of you to fall!"
He swung his weapon, sending Eisenwald members scattering with every blow. Defense was unnecessary—they couldn't even make a dent in his skin, and their attacks were no match for his.
"Use ranged magic!" someone shouted.
The Eisenwald magicians began firing magic bullets, basic but effective. Nearly every magician knew this spell; it was simple, practical, and could pack a punch with enough users.
*Shhhh-!!*
Magic bullets rained down on Su Yan, bursting upon impact.
"Keep firing!" the Eisenwald members shouted, momentarily hopeful.
Then, Su Yan's voice came through the smoke, calm and unbothered. "Ah, so relaxing! A few more magic bullets, please!"
As the smoke cleared, Su Yan stood unharmed.
"Monster…!" someone screamed, terror spreading through the Eisenwald ranks.
