Lucy's mouth hung open in shock. Watching Su Yan toss the massive monster around like a toy, she finally understood why he'd charged straight into a moving train. For a powerhouse like Su Yan, all of this was probably just child's play.
"Ugh!" the 'Curse Song' monster howled in pain.
But Su Yan didn't let up, relentlessly pounding the monstrous creature, creating a cacophony of booming impacts.
*Boom! Boom! Boom!*
Everyone could only watch in stunned silence as Su Yan, practically toying with the creature, pummeled it without mercy. What they'd thought was an end-all, terrifying evil had turned into nothing more than a punching bag.
*Snap!*
A loud crack echoed as something broke.
"Huh?" Su Yan swung again but felt his grip lighten. Looking down, he realized he was only holding onto one of the monster's massive fingers.
*Crash!*
The 'Curse Song' monster landed heavily on a distant section of the train, flattening several cars beneath its weight.
With a straight face, Su Yan looked down at the finger in his hand and muttered, "Guess even the mighty can lose a finger…"
The irony wasn't lost on the spectators, who all felt a pang of secondhand embarrassment. They wanted to point out that Su Yan was the one who'd ripped it off, but no one dared voice it.
The 'Curse Song' monster knelt on the ground, its body cracking from Su Yan's relentless assault. Its finger wasn't the issue, but the unshakable realization of Su Yan's monstrous strength sent a shiver of fear down its spine.
"You…" The demon's voice shook. Despite being a creature born of Zeref's magic, it now faced fear itself. But it had no choice; if it didn't destroy this human, it would perish.
"Die, you monster!" it roared, gathering a surge of green magical energy into its mouth before launching a massive energy beam toward Su Yan.
Su Yan's eyes narrowed. "You're calling *me* the monster?"
*Thrum!*
A terrifying purple aura surrounded Su Yan as he released a wave of overpowering energy, charging forward to meet the beam head-on.
*Boom!*
The ground split beneath his feet as his aura tore through the earth.
*Crash!*
The purple aura collided with the green magic beam, creating a shockwave of red and black lightning. In seconds, the green beam was overwhelmed, swallowed up by Su Yan's energy, which slammed into the monster.
"Ahhhhhhhh!"
The demon's body cracked and shattered like porcelain, its screams echoing as it disintegrated.
*Crash!*
As the shattered remains of 'Curse Song' hit the ground, Su Yan scoffed. "I thought you'd be stronger. Turns out you were all bark, no bite."
Everyone was left speechless, watching in disbelief as the ground trembled beneath the remains of the once-feared demon. Su Yan's power radiated from him like a colossal, invisible dragon.
Members of Eisenwald, trembling and unable to withstand the force of Su Yan's aura, fainted one by one, mouths frothing.
Lucy, standing just behind Su Yan, was spared the full force of his power and stayed conscious, though her knees shook. "What… what is he?"
Erza smiled confidently. "That's Su Yan's true power."
"Love~!" Happy cheered, grinning from ear to ear.
Natsu's body shook with excitement. "I'm fired up! I want to fight him so bad!"
Lucy recoiled, horrified. "Are you insane?!"
Kageyama, still quaking from the aftershocks of Su Yan's aura, couldn't stop the chills running down his spine. *What kind of monsters had they crossed?* So, this was the strength of Fairy Tail's wizards?
Erza approached Kageyama, her voice cold. "Tell us the real reason you unsealed the 'Curse Song' and hijacked the train."
Realizing he was beaten, Kageyama confessed the truth. After hearing it, everyone's expressions turned grim. They hadn't expected Eisenwald to be so brazen, planning to use the 'Curse Song' to wipe out the guild masters in the area.
Su Yan raised an eyebrow. "So they're just some nobodies who got a taste of power. If they'd tried that against our old man, they wouldn't have even made a dent."
Suddenly, a shout rang out from a distance.
"No one move! We're the Rune Knights, under direct orders from the Magic Council!"
A squad of Rune Knights came into view, heading straight for them.
Su Yan's expression turned serious. "Great… the Council's troops."
"Already?! They got here so fast!" Erza's eyes widened.
"Run!" Su Yan, Erza, Natsu, and Happy took off in a blur, leaving Lucy blinking in confusion.
In moments, the Rune Knights surrounded the area, catching Lucy and the rest of the defeated Eisenwald members.
Lucy glanced around, dumbfounded. "Wait… wha—HEY! Where did everyone go?!"
