Chapter 31 - In the Maze of Purpose"

(sighs deeply, gazing into the dark horizon) "I... I don't know. I don't know my goal exactly. It's like I'm lost in a maze. Every time I try to figure out the path, I find myself back in the same place."

Irian:

So you are floating in a spiral. For me, I want to become a strong warrior who protects his friends

(looks at Larius, noticing the confusion in his eyes) "But you have the strength, Larius. Strength that few possess. Don't you think that's part of your purpose?"

Larius:

(slowly shakes his head) "Maybe... but strength alone isn't enough. I thought that power would give me the answers, but... with every battle, and every step I take, the questions keep growing. Everything has become more unclear."

Irian:

(pauses for a moment, then smiles gently) "You might not find the answer right away. Sometimes, purpose reveals itself only as you walk the path, even if you don't know where it leads."

Larius:

(tries to smile, but confusion still lingers in his eyes) "Maybe... but I'm afraid of getting lost in this maze. Maybe... the goal I'm searching for only exists at the end, after I face all the challenges."

Irian:

"Maybe. But that's what makes the journey worth it, isn't it?"

In a shared silence, each of them reflects on the path they are walking, as the true purpose of their journey remains shrouded in mystery

In a dimly lit church, Sola, one of Caligula's most loyal aides, was examining a black book inscribed with mysterious numbers. He slowly raised his eyes and muttered to himself with a sneer:

"It seems the team of hunters we sent to the Chaos Lands met their fate. Defeated by those mercenaries."

He pointed at the numbers 5 and 2 written on the book's pages:

"Two numbers have been crossed out... they were brothers. What will Caligula's next move be?"

One of the church members, a man with a He holds a stick on his hand , entered the room with a worried expression:

"Sir Sola, Caligula awaits your decision. Things are escalating quickly, and it would be wise to act before those mercenaries uncover any evidence that could harm us."

Sola smiled calmly and closed the book.

"Do not worry. Caligula knows this is merely a test. Those mercenaries won't last long. For now, let us observe King Kind... his movements are intriguing."

In King Kind's palace, the king stood before a group of highly trained warriors. Their faces were grim, and their bodies bore countless battle scars. In a deep, commanding voice, the king declared:

"Prepare to depart. Beyond the great wall, a looming danger stirs... a demonic child. Find him and bring me his head!"

He paused for a moment before continuing:

"If you encounter the Firebow Mercenaries, deliver my message to them: If they wish to join or offer assistance, they are welcome. They will return soon, no doubt. Now, go!"

---

Elsewhere, on the outskirts of the Chaos Lands, the Firebow Mercenaries were gathered at a small camp. Lara was speaking with Arman, her gaze tense but determined:

"We've combed through half the lands, Arman. When will we return to the kingdom?"

Arman looked at her with weary eyes:

"Not until we find the crystal. They say it can transport its bearer to distant places, but it's surrounded by strange challenges no one understands. It appears suddenly and vanishes in unexpected locations."

Lara responded seriously:

"And what's its purpose? Why are we going through all this effort?"

"It's our final mission. If we bring it back, we'll claim our share of the spoils. If we fail, we won't leave this hell alive."

Lara nodded and added:

"Fine. Let's continue the journey. You will get that crystal after several paths

In a distant scene, deep within a dense forest, Andrius, a member of the Firebow Mercenaries, stood alone. Suddenly, he felt something strange approaching from afar. The air grew heavy, and the faint sound of footsteps drew closer from the surrounding darkness.

"What is this?" he whispered. He clenched his weapon tightly, ready for whatever might come his way.
