Hudson and Eros flew through the air using their powers and the sunlight shone through the clouds as they did.
" Don't think you'll be faster than me." Eros said as he flew right pass Hudson and turned to face him in the air.
They were flying to school and racing each other because the first thing Hudson wanted to do was feel what it was like to soar through the skies.
" I'll definitely reach school before you." Hudson said and Eros gritted his teeth and flashed his fangs as he smirked daringly.
Eros eyes widened as he felt a pain in his body and an overwhelming amount of power surging through him. For a split second he lost control of his power as he began falling from the sky.
Hudson flew down after him and grabbed his leg stopping him from falling.
Hudson never thought he'd see the day when he'd be the one who saved Eros but it was happening right now.
He pulled Eros back up and Eros started flapping his wings again.
" Get off of me , Starboy." Eros said disgustedly
Eros pushed him away immediately and started to fly on his own again.
" You're still going to treat me like an inferior being even though we share the same power now ?" Hudson said, complaining and flying behind Eros who clearly wanted to get as far away from him as possible.
" Yes. Do you think you're my equal ?" Eros asked and Hudson stopped and just stared at Eros in disappointment as the Alien Cupid flew ahead of him.
Hudson looked down and realizes that there was an incubus attacking a girl below and he flies towards her.
Eros immediately sense Hudson's presence leaving and turned around to fly after him.
" Where are you going ?"
" I'm trying to save a girl. Can you help me ?" Hudson said and Eros's eyes widened as he remembered something that he didn't even know happened.
A misplaced memory that didn't belong in his mind ?
A memory or vision from another world ?
" My Lord ," Hudson called after Eros in his memory. Hudson was much older and was wearing an odd uniform. He bowed down in front of Eros and Eros was sitting in a tub drinking red wine. It was as if Hudson had become an empty slave with no opinions of his own.
"Speak. " Eros had replied to Hudson very stiffly in the memory.
" Did my power please you ?" Hudson asked and Eros smirked sinisterly .
" Eros ! " Hudson called after the Alien Cupid.
Eros was falling again and Hudson had flown back to save him , leaving the girl with the incubus for way too long.
Hudson stared at Eros confused as he held the Cupid by his torso.
" Snap out of it . I really never thought you'd be zoning out in the middle of the sky like this. There's a girl who needs our help and we need to get to her before the incubus sucks her soul."
" I don't take orders from you ! I'll do what I want." Eros said then he yanked himself away from Hudson and flew ahead of him.
Eros flew to the ground where he saw the girl being attacked by an incubus.
" Double Ds how tasty. " The monster screeched as it's tongue waved back and forth.
" Gross ." Hudson said as he flew over them.
He landed beside Eros who started glowing light red as power beamed from him Hudson glowed green.
" Listen, I'm going to use your power. " Eros said as he grabbed the incubus off of the girl and it shrieked as Eros' power burned it.
" Hell no. I can do it myself." Hudson said as he covered the girl with his wings , picked her up and flew with her across the street.
" Just this one time ." Eros continued blasting the Incubus with his power as he shouted to Hudson.
" I said no ." Hudson shouted back as he landed in front of a mall with the girl. He placed her on her feet as she thanked him repeatedly before she left dropping her ID card as she ran off.
Hudson took up her ID he was going after her but he lost her in a crowd at the mall.
" Woah ! Sick costume dude." A boy approached Hudson excitedly and he remembered that his wings were still out.
" Yea it's a nice costume, right ? My sister made it herself." Hudson lied.
" Does she sell them?" The boy asked Hudson and reached out to touch Hudson's wings , but Eros appeared out of nowhere ,blocked the boy from touching them and answered his question.
" Yes the cost of these wings is a life. Don't let it be yours." Eros said and the boy ran off screaming.
" Dude he's just a little kid. Why are you always like this ?" Hudson said and Eros got angry.
" Why was he about to touch something that's mine ?" Eros said and Hudson rolled his eyes.
" And what exactly is yours ?These wings are an extension of MY body." Hudson asked making his wings flap back and forth
" Your BODY is an extension of MY power." Eros said defensively then he pulled Hudson by his arm.
" I am your Master and you must listen to me ! If my power is yours then you are MINE." Eros shouted and Hudson eyes widened and the people around them stopped and stared at the two boys with wings.
Hudson stared at the ground.
" T-that's really how you think ?" Hudson asked and when Eros grabbed him he realized that Hudson was crying.
He sniffled and tears streamed down his face.
"Damn it. Starboy, I just wanted you to shine for me." Eros said angrily as he let him go and walked off.
As Eros walked off he heard screaming in the mall and realized that multiple incubuses were in the mall jumping on top of people and hitting over food stands.
" These freaky demons are everywhere." Eros said, pissed and frustrated.
Before Eros knew it the whole mall was filled with the disgusting lustful creatures and he was surrounded by people who were screaming and panicking.
"Eros !" Hudson screamed as he was on the floor and being attacked by an incubus.
" Damn it !" Eros said when he realized that Hudson was being attacked.
Eros immediately forgot about everyone else and ran towards Hudson.
" Get your hands off my WEAPON!" Eros screamed and he flew towards the incubus that was on top of Hudson.
" Kami, Arrows of Affliction !" Eros shouted and he stretched his hand out and a black bow and arrow appeared in front of his hand. He grabbed it then aimed at the incubus.
With each shot the incubus shrieked in pain. It was burning up but then It suddenly got bigger.
Hudson tried to use his powers to harm the incubus but it didn't work instead Hudson realized that he didn't learn to use his powers yet.
" Oh , crap !" Hudson said as the Incubus ripped his shirt off and began pulling his pants.
Eros felt uncomfortable and angry at the sight infront of him but he tried to stay as calm as possible.
Eros' pheromones started seeping out again for the first time since he came to Earth and the women closest to him started screaming as his Pheromones turned them into zombies.
" Oh no." Hudson said , and Eros' face bent in anger as he started glowing with power.
" I'm not going to tell you again. Unclean beast get your filthy hands off my WEAPON!" Eros shouted and he threw one big ball of power at the incubus and it exploded causing a dark purple liquid to go flying all over the place.
Eros grabbed Hudson arm and pulled him towards himself.
" Listen I'm literally a danger to women right now. I can't stay in this mall. I need to use your power so we can get rid of as many incubus as soon as possible."
" Kindly ask for my consent. " Hudson suggested and Eros folded his arms across his chest.
"May I use your power? "
"No."
Eros gritted his teeth angrily and started walking away.
" I'm joking." Hudson said and Eros grabbed him aggressively.
" This isnt the time to be joking. Earth may never be the same after today. We need to do everything in our power right now to stop this mess."
" I just never thought I'd see the day when you'd want to do anything with me."
" Ok Starboy, I'll use your power. Pure Love Bomb ! " Eros said and their hands glowed brightly with extraordinary explosive energy.
Eros aimed at the center of the mall and Hudson immitated his actions.
"My perfect weapon." Eros said and Hudson couldn't believe Eros would ever call him perfect.
There was an explosion of their power in the mall followed by the sound of the incubus shrieking.
The place lit up as the demons disintegrated and people left the mall immediately.
Some girls thanked Eros and Hudson but most of them were also very afraid of them because of the explosion they caused.
" Hey so what causes the Incubus to attack people? " Hudson asked as he watched everyone leave.
" Well they exist to feed off of bad thoughts and emotions. They were created by a power called Twisted Love. It's the opposite of my power. Twisted love is what causes rape , sexual assault, obsession, and stalking and you never know how bad it can get."Eros said and Hudson nodded.
"When I got attacked the first time I was thinking about my old babysitter.I was going through some strong emotions because she just moved away. I wasn't thinking any think weird though."
" You don't have to be thinking about anything weird. It's a demon it will attack you whether you are thinking bad things or not but once it's on you you'll start thinking about stuff. I could see it on your face. You were blushing. It pissed me off. I couldn't shake that image from my head for a while." Eros said , disgustedly.
" Have they ever attacked you ? "
" No . Why would they ? I don't have romantic feelings remember. I don't fall in love. They can't attack me because they can't excite me or get into my brain with stupid tricks." Eros said and he walked off.
" Where are you going?" Hudson asked trying to keep up with Eros.
" School ."
" We're like one hour late." Hudson said .
" Didn't we just save a bunch of people ? Why does it matter if we're late?"
" So in your Planet do - " Hudson started but Eros cut him off.
" You know I don't see you as my friend,right ? I only see you as a weapon now." Eros said and Hudson went silent for a while because he didn't know how to reply.
" I get it . With me you have twice the power. That's all you care about. I'm an inferior human with dumb feelings. Just because you helped me it doesn't mean you want to be my friend. I'm just a tiny space in your world." Hudson said then he sighed.
Eros was surprised by how well Hudson remembered the things he'd said to him and how much he understood but then Hudson looked directly at him.
" One day you're going to find a girl who's going to change your mind about love. I can feel it." Hudson said excitedly and Eros groaned frustratedly.
" Stupid Human , I'm not actively choosing not to be in love. I have no romantic feelings whatsoever. I'm not interested in love. Get it through your thick skull. It's not a choice." Eros said angrily and Hudson smiled because he knew that Eros would react this way but Hudson still wanted to believed that Eros would find someone who he'd love with all his heart.
They headed otf to school, arguing all the way.
Two fools connected by power divided by how they saw love.
