" You remember when you met Eros for the first time ? " Venus asked and Hudson nodded.
When Hudson first met Eros he was a small alien child wearing a white mask with the words ' Devoid of beauty ' written on it in red paint when Hudson finally saw his face for the first time he was mesmerized. He had never seen an alien before and Eros' eyes glowed with power.
" Yea I remember. " Hudson stated as he managed to rip the alien seaweed that attached Eros to the floor. He pulled Eros up and carried him towards Venus.
" Everything that Eros did that seemed weird at that time was recommended by a Doctor from our planet.You'd probably thought he was silly for wearing that white mask when he was younger but it wasn't even his decision." Venus stated, her voice seemed to overcome the water and Hudson could hear her clearly.
" The suppressants, the repellant, they're all medicine for Eros." Venus stated , her hair flowing in the water.
Hudson kept swimming and she followed behind him , Eros was still unconscious but Hudson could feel that he was still alive.
"At first when you tried to save Eros I thought you were being silly but now I sense a dark energy and I think it's the reason he's in this sleep like state. Let's get everyone out of the school and then I'll tell you about more about Eros and why he is the way he is." Venus said and Hudson nodded then she swam ahead of Hudson to get the others , leaving Hudson carrying her Master in his arms.
"Eros , you're a big mystery and I don't understand you because I'm human but I want to know what happened. Why can't you feel love and why do you treat me like an object? I'm a human being." Hudson spoke to Eros as he carried him through the water.
Eros wasn't conscious at all at this moment and Hudson began to get worried.
Hudson sighed in distress then he gently touched Eros' head and out of nowhere he felt an invisible entity pull Eros' body away from him.
" W - what ? What the hell is going on ?" Hudson asked as he pulled Eros back towards himself and it happened again.
Something or someone was pulling Eros away from Hudson and it was both spooking Hudson out and pissing him off.
' Let go of my friend!' Hudson shouted mentally and he pulled Eros back towards him aggressively.
he knew Eros didn't even consider him a friend but a simple weapon that he could use whenever he wanted to.
The water splashed aggressively as they pulled him back and forth and Hudson was almost ready to explode with power when he decided to calm down and think about his recent actions .
Eros was still in a sleep like state and it seemed as though nothing was going to wake him up so Hudson decided to try to use Eros' power, he held his chest and stood there hoping Eros would wake up.
' if I can tap into his power then I can activate his body and wake him up , right ? '. Hudson thought and his eyes started glowing.
' My hands are off you but my heart is not. Even just for a second my heart is yours . Feel what I feel now ." Hudson thought as he let go of Eros and backed away.
Eros' body started to glow and his eyes opened suddenly, his arms extended outwards and power exploded from him , causing rippling waves that pushed both Hudson and the invisible entity away from him.
" Starboy you woke me up ! Never do that crap again! " Eros shouted mentally at Hudson and he nodded nervously in agreement.
Eros swam as fast as he could and Hudson tried to keep up.
' Planet Phantom invaded the school and now we need to worry about ghosts from another planet.' Eros thought frustratedly gritting his teeth as he swam ahead.
'Planet Phantom ? Ghosts ? I thought they were Sirens. ' Hudson thought and Eros stopped suddenly.
' You can read my mind now ? This is so annoying I go to sleep at the bottom of the water for a few minutes and the weakling learns how to read my mind. Of all the people who could have the ability to read my mind why'd it have to be you ?' Eros faced the human boy angrily and he just stared back at him nervously.
' I'm your weapon remember ? '
' I NEVER forgot because I'm haunted everyday by how many better people could have gotten my power and how a weak human got it instead.'
" Didn't you choose me ?
'My POWER chose you NOT ME ." Eros explained and Hudson felt awful
' I'm sorry but didn't you want a weapon?' Hudson asked as he followed the alien Cupid around the place. The water had been painted light red by blood.
' I didn't want a weapon I just wanted to get stronger on my own.'
They were both at the surface of the water now with their heads near the ceiling and the water up to their necks.
"Well what do we have here? A malfunctioning Cupid and its pet Human. Care to share the long pathetic backstory? I won't judge." The Siren Princess teased sinisterly as she swam up between the two boys.
" Listen I'm NOT HIS PET. I'm HIS WEAPON." Hudson glared at her as he spoke.
" YOU'RE HIS WEAPON ? WHAT A JOKE . I thought his weapon was supposed to be a ruler from another planet. You're a weak human boy."
" Why are you even here ? " Eros asked the Siren Princess and she frowned.
" I came to stop the prophecy obviously. My planet isn't going to freeze over because you decide to get soft and fall in love with a peasant girl." She stated angrily.
" I'm not falling in love." Eros said , he was frustrated and tired of talking about love when he would never get involved with such inferior emotions.
" I'm here to make sure you don't by killing off your love match ."
" And who the hell is my love match ?"
" I don't know that.'' The Siren Princess admitted reluctantly and Eros just glared at her.
" That's because the prophecy was wrong. I don't have a Love match. Go back to the Siren Planet before I blast you back there myself."
The Siren Princess grabbed Eros and tried to pull him down into the water but he resisted strongly.
They wrestled in the water and Hudson tried to stop them.
"Aren't you afraid of my Pheromones? You are a woman right ?"
" Yes I'm a woman. I'm smart enough to know you're not going to let your Pheromones out with so many human girls around."
" Let him go ! " Hudson shouted and the Siren Princess pulled them deep down into the water.
She trapped them both in seaweed at the bottom of the water then she swam away.
"I'm not going to let you distract me from what I really came here for I'm going to find your love match and I'm going to kill her." She said and she swam away speedily , searching the water for a girl that stood out.
' Oh Crap ! Innocent girls are going to get murdered.'
' Weakling , stop whining and start doing something that make sense. You can read my mind and you can use my powers but you're out here crying like a Baby. Man up and save people like you always wanted to.'
Eros and Hudson were reading each other's minds and Eros was still pissed at him.
'Okay.'
Hudson used his powers to split the alien seaweed from off of them and they swam to where the others were.
Eros used his powers to blast the water out of the Cafeteria and everyone who was swimming fell to the floor instantly.
There was no more water in the cafeteria. They met up to Venus and the rest of them.
" Venus, where are the Sirens ?"
" They left with the girl. The girl you were supposed to save but didn't. They think she's Eros' love match. "
" Enmei ? " Hudson asked in disbelief and Venus helped Yukina up off the floor.
" Many people are injured let's save them."
"We need to save Enmei."
" No we don't."
" What if she's actually your love match."
" I don't care. She's just one girl .I don't believe in the stupid prophecy." Eros stated frustratedly.
" Just one girl ? Enmei's my childhood friend. She means a lot to me."
" Then you go save her then."
" Eros if you don't save Enmei I will stop being your weapon."
" I don't care."
" Please save her ! She's a good person."
" You're such a fucking hypocrite you know that . You had the chance to save her and you didn't because you wanted to save Eros instead. She's your best friend but you chose your childhood bully over her. You don't even deserve to call her your friend." Venus scolded the human boy angrily and he just stood there and started to cry.
" Listen I'll help save her but you need to know that the decisions YOU make will affect other people."
Hudson nodded.
" Best friend or Bully ?
If the school was on fire and both of them were in an equal amount of danger, who would you save if you could only save one ? " Venus asked and he couldn't decide.
He didn't want to answer that question.
Everybody else would choose their best friend without a doubt but for Hudson it was hard because he valued all human life equally whether the person was good or bad
....even if they weren't human at all.
He didn't want anyone to die.
Still for some reason his mind kept going straight to Eros instead.
'Why'd I save him instead of the girl that I've been friends with since I was an infant. It doesn't make any sense.'
' I don't make any sense.' Hudson thought to himself sadly.
" Something's wrong with me.It's all my fault.
I should have saved her." Hudson replied and Venus didn't respond to him.
There was a brief moment of silence between them before she spoke again.
" Let's go get your friend back." Venus said and Yukina decided be the one to heal the injured students while the others planned how they'd get Enmei back.
