Lena rushed into Elias office, holding the evidence in her hand. Elias looked up, surprised by her immediate entrance.
"Lena? What is wrong?" he said, standing.
She slammed the folder on his desk.
"This, this is what is actually wrong."
"These payments... they are from William." Elias said frowning, opening through the documents. His expression was darkened as he realized what he was looking at.
"Exactly, Your uncle has been planning everything feeding Langston information, destroying my reputation, and even manipulating you as well." Lena said, her voice was trembling with much anger.
"Are you sure about this?" Elias said as his jaw was tightened, his eyes was narrowing.
"Reed confirmed it, William has been playing both sides from the start." Lena said.
"I trusted him, I let him into my inner circle, and he used that trust to tear everything apart." Elias said as his hands clenched into fists as he looked at the evidence.
