Lena was standing in the main office, checking a new proposal from the finance department.
"What do you think?" Elias said as he approached her, looking over her shoulder.
"It is safe," Lena said, her tone was neutral.
"Safe is not necessarily that bad," Elias said as he pointed out.
"But it is not enough, This company needs bold decisions to regain its position. I'm not here to play it safe, Elias." Lena countered back, turning to face him.
"Then what is your plan?" Elias said as he raised an eyebrow, a small smile was on his lips.
"We will allocate the resources to high potential projects again and cut back on less profitable ventures. It is a risk, but the pay off could really be important." Lena said as she handed him her revised version of the proposal.
"This is ambitious." Elias studied the document, his smile was wide as he spoke.
"And necessary," Lena said firmly.
