A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts and Vivian entered, her expression was carefully neutral.
"I heard Lena left." Vivian said sounding casually, but her tone carried a trace of satisfaction.
"How did you hear that so quickly?"
Elias said as his eyes narrowed.
"Word travels fast in the office, I assume you finally saw her for who she really is." Vivian said.
Elias leaned back, his gaze never leaving Vivian. His silence was enough to make her shift uncomfortably, though she tried to hide it.
"Elias, you really made the right decision, Lena was a liability and the evidence was not deniable. The company is more safe without her."
Vivian continued.
"Do you think it is that simple?" Elias tapped his fingers against the desk, his tone was very sharp as he spoke.
