"Lena has been through more than most people realize." Elias said as his jaw tightened.
"Maybe but her past makes her not to be predictable and unpredictable is really a liability." William said.
Elias did not reply immediately, his mind was thinking about William's words.
"You have always been careful, Elias, that is why you have succeeded where others have failed but lately, I have noticed some.....cracks in your bones."
"Cracks?" Elias asked, raising an eyebrow.
