"And who would that be?" Elias said as he leaned back, his tone was doubting.
"Lena. She has been trying to spoil me from the beginning." Vivian hesitated for only a moment before replying.
"And why would Lena do that?" Elias said frowning, his tone was very measured.
"Because she is jealous, she wants your trust, your favor, your... everything. She will do whatever it takes to tear me down." Vivian said very smoothly.
"That is just a convenient excuse." Elias said as he studied her carefully, his expression was unreadable.
