Lena sat by Margaret's bedside, a notebook was on her lap, her pen was ready to write.
Margaret shifted uncomfortably beside Lena knowing she's really focusing her eyes on her.
"Mom, I need you to tell me everything. No more holding back." Lena started, her voice was steady but very firm,
"Lena, I have told you what I can. I don't want to drag you back to the past." Margaret said, her hands was shaking in the blanket.
"You already did, You told me I was not your biological daughter. That my real family was connected to the Langstons. And now... I need the rest." Lena replied very sharply.
"There is not much to say again." Margaret said looking away, her voice was quiet.
"Mom, stop lying, Who were they? What happened? You owe me the truth." Lena said, moving forward.
"The family I worked for... they were wealthy and respected. The kind of people who seemed untouchable but their lives were full of many secrets."
