Chapter 8: Moonwhisper Legacy
(Ava's POV)
Kael's words echoed in my mind.
"Your family's legacy, Ava. It's time you knew."
I sensed a deep connection to the Moonwhisper pack.
A connection I'd never understood.
"Tell me more," I urged.
Kael's eyes seemed to hold secrets.
"The Moonwhisper pack was founded by your ancestors," he began. "Powerful witches who harnessed the moon's energy."
I listened, entranced.
"They protected the supernatural community," Kael continued. "Kept the balance of power."
I felt a surge of pride.
"My family did that?"
Kael nodded.
"But Victor Nightwalker's ambition destroyed everything."
I gritted my teeth.
"I won't let him win."
Kael's gaze locked onto mine.
"Together, we'll restore the Moonwhisper legacy."
Together.
The word echoed in my mind.
Was I ready to trust Kael?
Was I ready to face my destiny?
(Kael's POV)
Ava's determination ignited a fire within me.
I saw a glimmer of the strength Elara once spoke of.
"Ava, you're the key," I said. "Your powers can restore balance."
Ava's eyes narrowed.
"What powers?"
I hesitated, unsure how much to reveal.
"Your lunar magic," I said. "It's dormant, but I can help you unlock it."
Ava's gaze locked onto mine.
"Teach me."
I smiled.
"Let's begin."
As we stepped into the moonlit forest, Ava's powers began to stir.
A spark within her ignited.
A spark that would change everything.
The moon cast its silvery glow upon us.
Ava's eyes shone with excitement.
"Show me," she whispered.
I guided her through the forest.
Pointing out the subtle energies.
Teaching her to harness the moon's power.
Ava's magic grew.
With each passing moment.
Her connection to the moon deepened.
I watched, mesmerized.
As Ava's true potential unfolded.
