Chapter 9 - Curse Sin of Maledicta?

Prev...

A wicked gleam danced in Dervin's eyes as he whispered to himself, his voice dripping with malevolent intent, "How...deliciously intriguing." A slow, sinister smile spread across his face, like a crack in the facade of sanity, revealing the dark, calculating mind that lurked beneath.

Present...

How did Gwen and Jessica even get here? Dervin questioned himself. He stands up and heads towards the exit of the royal chamber. The grand royal hallway stretched out before Dervin like a golden ribbon, its opulent carpet woven with intricate patterns of crimson and gold that seemed to shimmer in the soft, ethereal glow of the crystal chandeliers.

Majestic pillars, adorned with delicate filigree and gleaming with a subtle sheen of polished marble, marched along the hallway's length, supporting the vaulted ceiling and its frescoed depictions of ancient battles and mythological creatures.

Doors of polished ebony, inlaid with glittering silver and gold, led off the hallway at regular intervals, each one concealing a secret world of its own: the throne room, with its imposing dais and glittering tapestries; the library, where ancient tomes whispered secrets to the shadows; and the private chambers, where the Elizabeth's most intimate secrets slumbered behind closed doors. The hallway continued straight ahead, leading to a grand staircase that lead to a formal entrance.

As Dervin emerged from the castle, he was met with a sight that seemed to have been orchestrated specifically for his benefit: Elizabeth stood tall, her eyes gleaming with a fierce intensity, while at her feet lay the limp forms of Gwen and Jessica. Dervin's gaze swept over the scene, his expression unreadable. He took a step forward, his voice low and even, as he asked, "Elizabeth, what is the meaning of this?"

Dervin's voice emerged from the silence like an otherworldly whisper, its ethereal tone sending a shiver down Elizabeth's spine. Her eyes widened in surprise, and for a fleeting moment, her fiery composure faltered. Then, in an instant, her expression transformed, a radiant grin spreading across her face like a sunrise. Her eyes sparkled with unbridled joy, and her entire demeanor seemed to vibrate with an almost palpable excitement. Her voice filled with excitement, she shouted "Master!"

Elizabeth's feet barely touched the ground as she hurtled towards Dervin with lightning-fast speed. In a blur of motion, she launched herself at him, wrapping her arms tightly around his waist in a enthusiastic jump-hug. Dervin's eyes widened in surprise as he struggled to maintain his balance, his posture wavering for a moment before he steadied himself. Elizabeth's voice was muffled against his chest as she exclaimed, "Master, I've prepared these beautiful heroines for you!"

"You've been my slave for only a short time, Elizabeth, and yet you're already demonstrating a remarkable understanding of my... preferences." Dervin stated with a grin.

[Curse Sin of Maledicta has been applied.]

Dervin's soul ignited with an infernal fire, its malevolent flames ravaging his heart like a demonic possession. The darkness within him pulsed with an otherworldly power, urging him to unleash a maelstrom of terror upon the world. His mind reeled with visions of carnage and despair, his thoughts dripping with an unspeakable cruelty. The air around him seemed to thicken with an unholy presence, as if the very fabric of reality was being warped by his evil intentions. The world narrowed to a single, twisted thought: DESTRUCTION.

As if bound by an unseen thread, Elizabeth felt the dark energy coursing through Dervin's mind. The cruel thoughts that ran rampant within him sent a shiver down her spine, as a new Dark Goddess that has not yet accustom to the shadows. The sheer malevolence that fueled his intentions was almost too much for her to bear, and yet, she couldn't help but feel a twisted thrill of excitement.

"Elizabeth, this hunger is devouring me. When can I quench this bloodthirst? Where can I satiate this bloodthirst? How many lives will satiate this bloodthirst? Who will be the first contribute to this bloodthirst?" He growled.

Compelled by a sense of duty to aid Dervin in his pursuit, Elizabeth employed her mastery of teleportation, vanishing Gwen and Jessica to the dungeons of her foreboding castle. Upon her return, she was met with a sight that left her breathless: Dervin, transformed by some unseen force, stood before her in a manifestation of unfathomable power, his presence radiating an aura of unbridled malevolence.

Dervin, the Abyssal Lord, stood at an imposing 6'3" with an athletic yet lean build, that looked like it was honed from centuries of combat and dark magic. His crimson-hued skin seemed to absorb the light around him, giving off an eerie, otherworldly glow. Jagged, black horns sprouted from his forehead, curved like scimitars and sharp enough to shred steel.

His eyes burned with an inner fire, blazing with malevolent intent as they seemed to pierce the atmosphere around him. A twisted, cruel grin split his face, revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth that are about to be stained with the residue of countless victims.

From his broad shoulders, two dark, tattered wings unfolded like specters, their membranes etched with arcane symbols that pulsed with a malignant energy. The air around him seemed to distort and writhe, as if reality itself was being warped by his presence.

An aura of unbridled power and unspeakable evil surrounded Dervin, power that would strike fear into the hearts of even the bravest warriors. His very existence seemed to be a blasphemy, a mockery of all that was good and just in the world.

As Dervin's dark wings unfolded, casting long, ominous shadows on the ground, Elizabeth transformed beside him, her body contorting into her twisted, demonic form.

Elizabeth's demon form was a terrifying visage of dark beauty. Her slender yet athletic physique was draped in tattered, black wings that seemed to be woven from the very shadows themselves. Her skin was a deep, rich purple, like the darkest hue of a bruise, and it seemed to absorb the light around her.

Her face was a twisted parody of her normal form, with high cheekbones, a pointed chin, and full, luscious lips that seemed to be stained with the darkest, most forbidden fruits. Her eyes burned with an otherworldly green fire, a piercing gaze that seemed to bore into the very souls of those around her.

A twisted, nightmarish crown of black, thorny vines encircled her brow, as if the very darkness itself had risen up to claim her as its own. Her presence was accompanied by an unholy aura, a palpable sense of malevolence that seemed to draw the very life force out of the air.

As Elizabeth was now a creature of unbridled darkness, a monstrous embodiment of the shadows that will lurk within every human heart. As a slave to the Abyssal Lord Dervin, her very existence will be a blasphemy against the light.

Together, they stood poised on the threshold, ready to take to the skies and unleash a maelstrom of darkness upon the world.
