Chapter 3 - Part 2: The Ruthless Devil

~EMILY PARKER~

"Hey, drink this," I heard a man's voice. I was in a bar, feeling really sad and trying to calm down, so I came here.

I had already drunk five glasses of whiskey when I heard a man mixing something into a drink. He moved towards me and said to his companion, or whoever he was, "She's the perfect piece for him. Take her to room 10."

I was in a drunken haze, but I grabbed the glass and brought it to my lips. Just then, a man, he looked familiar, but I couldn't recognize him, snatched the glass from my hand and set it on the table.

"You can't drink this." he said.

I looked at him with an unfocused gaze. "Who are you to stop me from drinking my drink, huh?" I said angrily, though it wasn't really anger anymore. I was just a useless drunkard.

He rolled his eyes and then looked away, saying, "Come on, I'll drop you home."

I shook my head and reached for the glass again, but once more, he snatched it away and said, "This is not a good place for a kid like you."

Wait, what?

Did he just call me a kid?

Seriously? (I said to Seren)

"You dumbhead, I'm 23 years old and I'm allowed to drink," I said, glaring at him.

He chuckled, I hated that smile because it reminded me of someone. "Come with me, girl. I'll drop you home," he said again, but this time his tone was different-serious, not drunk like mine.

I shook my head and grabbed the glass once more. He snatched it away again, but this time, he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder in one quick motion.

I tried hard to free myself from the clutches of this devil, but his grip was obviously stronger than mine. I shouted loudly and hit his back repeatedly, and people in the bar were watching us. But I couldn't care less because I was drunk.

I guess he fell in love with me at first sight. Right Seren?

You are a complete drunken bitch, Ems (Seren)

He put me in his car and buckled my seatbelt before getting into the driver's seat and starting the car.

"Where do you live?" he asked while driving at a normal speed.

"YOU BLOODY DEVIL, LET ME GO!" I shouted, glaring at him.

"Tell me your address, and I'll drop you off," he said again.

"I WON'T! I CAN'T TRUST A DEVIL LIKE YOU. LET ME GO, YOU BASTARD!" I started hitting his arm and chest.

He began to lose control of the car as I kept hitting him, yelling at him, "LET ME GO, YOU CRAZY PSYCHO DEVIL!"

Just then, he grabbed both of my hands with one of his and continued driving. I didn't know where we were, but it looked like the countryside-there were many tall trees, and there was no light.

But I didn't give up. I kept shaking my hands, trying to free myself from his grip. Then he lost control, and his precious Aston Martin DB11 crashed into a tree.

I was thrown towards the dashboard, and he was slammed against the steering wheel as the car jerked to a stop.

"Holy crap," I muttered with my wide eyes.

~CHRISTIAN WALKER~

"You little brat, aghh, where did I get stuck with this mental case?" I muttered under my breath.

"Thank God I didn't get any bruises on my face. My rage surged, and I could barely control it. I can't stand her and her childish antics anymore." I muttered again.

My car just had a dent-nothing major. I stepped outside to check it, and it was okay, as I managed to control the impact. I got back in the car and looked at her, fuming with anger. I hated this girl as much as I hated every woman in the world, but I couldn't leave her there.

The place was dangerous, and the people there would be cruel to her.

After all I had a sister.

When she refused to tell me her address, I decided to take her to my apartment-my secret apartment. She was a completely mental drunkard, a total mess. She was really getting on my nerves, but I managed to control myself. I couldn't understand why I was holding back. If I had had my gun with me, I might have killed her.

When I finally reached my apartment, she had fallen asleep. I stared at her for a moment. I didn't know why, but my heart raced in a way it never had before.

I opened her door and picked her up in my arms, carrying her towards the gate after entering inside.

With one hand, I opened the door to the room and laid her down on the bed. As I placed her down, she grabbed my collar, pulling me closer to her face. Her ocean-blue eyes were closed, and she was in her deep sleep. I looked at her innocent, baby-like face, trying to free my collar from her grip, but she held on tightly, even in deep sleep.

She pulled on my collar again, making me lean even closer to her. Our faces were just inches apart, and my heart raced once more. I tried to ignore it, focusing on freeing my collar. As I did, I noticed her licking her lips in her sleep, and I heard her mumble, "I need strawberry cake right now, Aunt. Make one for me."

She licked her lips again, and I scoffed. Finally, I managed to free my collar and left the room. But the whole night, my heart raced like hell.

The next morning, it was 11 a.m., and I was getting ready for the office. I went to the room where I'd left her the night before and saw her sleeping peacefully. I stood there for a moment, watching her.

She looked so calm, so peaceful, something I wished I could feel. But I wasn't that lucky.

As I turned to leave, I heard her scream, "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU? WHAT AM I DOING HERE, HUH?"

I turned around, and our eyes met. She glared at me with wide-open eyes, her jaw dropping.

"KIDNAPPERRR!" she yelled.

Am I looking a kidnapper in this branded three piece suit? Seriously?

She is really a complete mess,

I hate her.

"Wait, what?" This time her voice lowered.

"W...where am I?" she stammered. "Did you kidnap me?  ARE YOU REALLY A KIDNAPPERRR? HUH?"

Listen, let me go. I won't tell anyone you kidnapped me for some money. Just for the sake of money, I can pay you. Just tell me what you want-$5,000, $10,000- just tell me, I'll give it to you next month."

I was getting irritated. How could a person talk so much? It was driving me insane. Just then, her expression changed, and she said, "Why, you look familiar to me." Her jaw dropped again as she came closer, her eyes wide.

"You're- the- psycho- devil- from- the- accident- day," she said, her words breaking with shock.

I rolled my eyes and looked away, speaking roughly because I was completely pissed off by her tone. "You can go now. My driver will drop you off." I saw her narrow her eyes at me, but I just smirked and walked away, leaving her jaw dropped.

She yelled after me, "I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU A SINGLE CENT BECAUSE YOU HURT ME THAT DAY, AND MY KNEE GOT BRUISED, YOU BLOODY HEARTLESS DEVILLLL !!!"

I smirked again but didn't stop.

I was in my room, standing near the window with my hands tucked in my pockets, watching as my driver tried to talk to her but She didn't listen to him and ran off.

~Emily parker~

"Aghh, where did I get stuck? Oh God, please, please save me. I just got this job, and I can't afford to lose it. Please, God, just this one time," I muttered while running towards the bus station.

But then, my eyes widened when I looked down at my dress. "HELL, NO WAY," I gasped. It was dirty, with a big stain from the drink that spilled on me last night.

"Why is the whole world against me?

God, what should I do now? I don't even have my purse to buy something."

Running late, I rushed back to my house and ran straight to my room. My aunt looked worried and confused, but I didn't have time to explain. I quickly changed my clothes and dashed out the door, heading to the bus station.

I had just half an hour to get there. To calm myself, I decided to listen to my favorite boys, Bangtan Boys-BTS. I put on "Life Goes On." Ahh, this song is so wholesome.

I love my Jungkookie and his damn hot voice, well, and the fact that it's sung by my seven hottest babies is why I love it so much.

After half an hour, I reached the mansion and ran inside. I saw Mary coming downstairs with a tray of breakfast. She looked at me with her playfully piercing eyes, and I understood her signal. She informed me that Sam was in the room, I mouthed a quick "sorry" to her as I rushed towards Sam's room.

Heading upstairs, I reached at the door to the baby room. I knocked, but there was no response. Gently pushing the door open, I stepped inside, I scanned the room which was beautifully decorated according to the kid.

Everything seemed to scream luxury and care. I couldn't help but feel a bit amused and thought that the billionaires were something else.

As I entered fully, I spotted him- sitting quietly on the edge of his car-shaped bed,  putting his books and notebooks into his bag I walked over and sat beside him.

"Hey, baby," I said softly, trying to catch his attention but He didn't look up.

Hey why haven't you changed yet? I asked noticing he was still in his pajamas.

Because daddy always changes my clothes but today he didn't came,

"Oh," I replied, making an understanding face.

Then I said, "Okay, no worries. Ems will get you changed. Consider me your babysitter for today, okay?"

He nodded but made a bored face, which made me smile at his cuteness. I helped him change, though he insisted on doing most of it himself. I noticed a slight blush on his cheeks when I buttoned up his shirt.

"Oops, this little kiddo is too adorable," I thought, already feeling a soft spot for him.

After that, we reached the living area, and I started teaching him.

Today, I taught him about geography, specifically about maps. He already knew a lot about them. At first, I asked him easy questions, which he answered correctly. Then I asked more difficult questions, but he didn't let me down.

Two hours passed while I  explained the next topic but he wasn't engaging with me much. Sometimes he listened and responded, but other times he didn't. This job was proving to be really difficult for me.

"Aghh, God help me," I sighed.

This was proving to be more difficult than I had expected. I tilted my head, trying to catch his eyes, but it only made my neck ache after holding the position for so long.

After a while when I was getting bore so I decided to make something , as I was going kitchen to see Mary, my eyes caught something that made me pause. There was a way leading to the other direction that I had never noticed before.

I don't know why, but I felt compelled to go there. The lights were off, and it was completely dark. I turned on my phone's torch and made my way down. When I reached the basement, I saw two doors. A sense of negativity washed over me, but I pushed forward and opened the first door.

Due to the dim light, I couldn't see much, but my jaw dropped because what I did see left me curious and uneasy. Suddenly, I heard something fall. I turned my head, my fear growing. Who could it be?

I closed the door and turned around, I got scared to death by a tall, young, handsome man standing right in front of me. His expression was intense, and I felt my heart race with fear. But I couldn't see his face clearly as everything was still dark. My phone had fallen to the ground.

He picked up my phone and placed it face down on a nearby table, which lit up the room enough for us to see each other clearly.

My jaw dropped again, and my eyes widened. "YOU!" I exclaimed, making a weird face as my voice raised.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, YOU DEVIL? YOU MONSTER! ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME? I SAID I'LL GIVE YOU MONEY WHEN I GET MY PAY!"

He stepped forward, causing me to instinctively step back until my body was pressed against the wall. He placed both hands on the wall, trapping me on both sides.

"W...what a...are y...you..." I stammered, unable to finish my sentence as he placed his index finger on my lips. I didn't know why, but I was stuttering a lot.

"What are you doing here in the basement? Wait, What are you doing here in my house?" he finally asked in a stern tone.

"Wait, what??" I blinked in confusion.

"His house?

His fucking house ?

How can this be possible?

This devil's house is the same house where I was this morning!

How can a kidnapper have such a giant and beautiful house.

"Aghh, where did I get stuck, God?"

"I SAID, WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY FUCKING HOUSE, HUH?" he shouted, and I snapped back to reality, making me tremble with fear. I felt goosebumps run down my spine.

"I...I....I do j....job h...here," I stammered,

"Can you stop stuttering and give me a clear answer, huh?" he snapped, cutting me off.

"I work here! I'm Sam's tutor! I got a call for an interview, and Clara..."

I said in one go, He scoffed, cutting me off again. "Listen to me, girl, if you want this job, LISTEN TO ME THE FUCKING CAREFULLY."

I nodded, looking at him in fear.

"Come to my office," he ordered, and then walked away.

I stood there, watching his retreating figure, my heart still pounding.

________________

"Woah, what the hell is this?" I muttered to myself as I entered his office, which was inside the same mansion where I'd been standing earlier. He was there, standing near the window, his back facing me, with one hand tucked in his pocket.

I couldn't help but admire the office. It was so beautifully decorated, it almost felt like I was in heaven. But then I saw him move towards his desk and pick up a black file. Before I knew it, he was right in front of me, handing me the file.

Wait,

what?? I thought, bewildered.

"God, what's wrong with me?

He was over there a moment ago.

How did he get here so fast?

I took the file from him, feeling a bit off-kilter.

"There are some rules to live in this house," he began.

"But I know the rules; Jessica made me understand," I started to say, but he placed his index finger on my lips, silencing me.

"Say one more word before I finish, and I'll lock you in that basement for the rest of your life," he threatened.

I shut my mouth instantly thar made him smirked,

I hated that smirk.

RULE NO. 1: Absolutely no one is allowed to enter the house or interact with my son while you're in charge. NOT YOUR BOYFRIEND, NOT YOUR FRIEND, I SAID NO ONE."

I scoffed internally. seriously? I don't have one."

"What, (Seren)

what did you say?

You don't have one? Girl,

seriously?

Then who is Steve?

Okay, okay, I have a bf ok? (Me to seren)

well, he will never come here.

I blinked. "B...But what about my pretty aunt? If I overtime here, She can come to see me. Well, I know she hates billionaires, I just thought..."

"RULE NO. 2: My son must be within your sight at all times til your duty. No exceptions."

"Why would I leave that pretty cutie boy? I already fell for him." I thought to myself.

"RULE NO. 3: My son is not to leave the house or grounds under any circumstances without my permission."

"But what if he wants to go outside and insists?" I asked, but he shot me a death glare, silencing me.

"RULE NO. 4: You must send hourly updates on my son's well-being."

I'm not idle who has nothing better to do than keep giving updates about everything. I muttered under my breath.

"RULE NO. 5: You are not allowed to go into the basement under any circumstances. It's strictly forbidden."

I'll never dare to enter that graveyard ever again.

"RULE NO. 6: Only pre-approved food and drinks are to be given to my son. No outside food is allowed."

"But what if he wants something specific?" I asked. He shot me another death glare.

RULE NO 7: You're not allowed drink, especially not before coming here.

"I don't drink."  I said

He just smirked then said,

"Did you get all that? Did you read carefully each and every thing in the file?"

I nodded quickly, looking at him. He turned away dismissively. "Go and do your job," he ordered.

______________________

I went to the mansion before my scheduled time, as I was getting bored at home. My aunt had gone for some paperwork, so I decided to go to the mansion.

"Hey baby, what are you doing?" I asked Sam, who was engrossed in his iPad, playing some fighting game.

He glanced at me briefly, then turned back to his iPad without saying anything.

"Well, umm, what is this game?" I tried to engage him.

I noticed he was struggling to defeat his opponent but losing every time. By the twelfth attempt, he was so frustrated that he threw the iPad onto the bed, his face scrunched up in anger.

I made a dramatic face, picked up the iPad, and restarted the game.

I focused intently on the game, and Sam watched with the same intensity as if he were playing.

"Yes, yes, beat him! Beat him, girl! Yes, like that, woohoo! You did it right, now punch him in the face! Go, tap the power button, yes, yes!" he cheered, his enthusiasm building with every move.

"Yayyyyyyyy!" we exclaimed in unison when we won. Sam jumped up on the bed, celebrating the victory. I watched him and smiling, as he looked at me shyly, then sat down on the bed with his head lowered.

I then kept him close and spread my hand, placed on his shoulder and gently rubbed his shoulder then said, "Aww, my baby, we won, and you're making a sad face? What about a second round, hmm?"

He looked up at me with hopeful eyes. I understood immediately and picked up the iPad to start the second round.

"Yessss, we won again!" he shouted excitedly. I smiled at him, and suddenly, he hugged me tightly. My eyes widened in surprise-since I'd been here, he hadn't even talked to me properly.

As he broke the hug, I looked at him and extended my hand. "Friends?" I asked.

He looked at my hand, then nodded, shaking it with a smile that made my heart melt.

"Now, baby, let's go; it's time for your studying."

He nodded, and then we went to the living area. Today, I taught him about science.

He was perfect in the subject, so he paid close attention, and I enjoyed explaining things to him as he immersed himself in the material.

It was almost time for my shift to end, but I decided to leave after an hour of my schedule time.

             ~Christian walker~

I sat in my dark office, The air was heavy with the smell of cigars, and the glass of whiskey with bottle placed on the table, The room was dimly yellow lit, A heavy curtain covered the window, keeping the outside world away.

My face was serious, yet with a great feature , but in a pretty face of mine there was showing no hint of kindness. I wore a black branded suit, looking sharp and intimidating.

Two of my men stood before me, their faces were pale and their bodies were shaking with fear. They had just returned from a failed operation, and everyone knew I wasn't someone who forgave mistakes easily, in my world, failure was met with punishment.

I stared at them with cold, calculating eyes, my fingers tapping rhythmically on the desk.

"You had one simple job," I said, my voice cold and sharp. I didn't shout- i never needed to. My voice alone was enough to send shivers down the spine of anyone in the room.

"Just one job, and you couldn't get it right."

YOU BOTH FUCKING MESSED UP EVERYTHING, but I had to shout, patting on the desk hardly which made them scared to death. Because i couldn't resist the anger boiling inside me.

I then leaned back in my chair, slowly exhaling a cloud of smoke. "Do you know what happens when someone disappoints me?" I whispered, my voice soft but deadly.

Neither of them dared to answer. They already knew. They knew I was a man who meant what i said. If I was angry, there would be consequences.

"They disappear." I completed my sentence.

I then stood up before buttoning my coat and walked around the desk, my footsteps echoing in the room. I stopped in front of them, staring them down with cold, calculating eyes while my one hand tucked in a pocket.

The men looked at each other, clearly scared. They knew what was coming.

I grabbed one of the men by the collar and pulled him close. The man could barely breathe, his fear choking him.

"YOU'VE WASTED MY TIME, MY MONEY, AND MY TRUST YOU BLOODY BASTARDS," i said, my voice even colder now. "In my world, you don't get away with that."

One of the men tried to say he was sorry, They knew I, the devil Christian Walker was a man of few words, but those words were always backed by action,

but I cut him off with a glare then jerked the collar in a quick force . I reached into my desk drawer and pulled out a gun, casually looking it over as if it were just another tool.

You know the rules, If

you fail, in my world, you pay the price that's unforgivable." I said calmly.

Without another word, i raised the gun and fired two shots. The men fell to the floor, dead, the sound of the gun still echoing in the room but the room was sound proof. I didn't hesitate. I was so cruel,

I calmly put the gun back in the drawer and sat down again. I picked up my phone and dialed a number.

"Come clean this up, And make sure it doesn't happen again." i ordered when someone answered.

After hanging up, i lit another cigar and took a slow puff, i then went and stood near my huge window and watched the sky, my face stayed cold and emotionless, as if nothing had happened.

For me, violence was just part of doing business and entertaining and i was very good at it.

There was a knock on the door, and one of my trusted lieutenants, my right hand, a man named Victor, entered. He glanced at the bodies but showed no reaction-he was used to scenes like this.

"Boss, The shipment is ready. The men are in place." Victor said, his tone respectful.

I nodded with a devilish smirk, my mind already shifting to the next task. "Good. Make sure there are no loose ends this time. We can't afford any more mistakes.

Victor nodded and left the room, leaving me alone with my thoughts. I took another puff of my cigar, staring at the smoke as it curled toward the ceiling.

In my world, there was no room for mercy, no place for forgiveness. There was only power, and i intended to keep it-no matter the cost.

~EMILY PARKER~

"Aunt, where are you? Ems home!" I called out for my pretty aunt, but no response came. Our house wasn't so big that my voice couldn't reach her wherever she might be.

I entered the living area and saw that everything was a mess, and my worry grew. I quickly went to my room where we sleep, but it was messy there too. I searched the garden, but she was nowhere to be seen.

Finally, I found her in the bathroom, sitting on the floor and crying. My eyes widened with concern as I kneeled down beside her.

"Aunt Suzy, what's wrong?" I asked, but she continued to cry, not answering me. I quickly hugged her, trying to calm her down while gently caressing the back of her head. I decided it wasn't the right time to press her for answers, so I led her back to the room.

After a moment, she broke the hug and said, "Ems... go somewhere else. Hide yourself, please."
