Later today i was now with Capella, i just looked at her while shee goes around doing her own stuff, Blasph was just lazily sitting on top of my head. "Hey can i ask a question"
"Sure what is it" She asked still doing whatever she is doing.
"Why did you make me resemble you" Capella paused, glancing over her shoulder with a smirk that sent a chill down my spine. "Well your ideals say only love yourself, So if i make you closely resemble me, won't you love me instead in a more different approach"
I stared at her, caught off guard by the unexpected logic. "So… you thought that by making me look like you, I'd start to feel the same way about you?"
Capella's smirk deepened as she turned fully toward me, her eyes gleaming with an unsettling mix of amusement and something else I couldn't quite identify. "Exactly. I thought it might amuse me to see how much of my essence you'd embrace. You said you've never felt love, right? Well, consider this a little… experiment."
I felt a strange mix of emotions—confusion, curiosity, and a slight twinge of irritation. "So, you're saying you're trying to make me… care for you by forcing some kind of twisted self-reflection?"
She shrugged, the grin never leaving her face. "Love is an elusive thing, Aden. It doesn't always come naturally. Sometimes, it needs a little push. And you… you're a blank slate, a creature who's never known what it means to love or be loved. So why not see if I can become the object of that affection?"
I looked down, feeling strangely vulnerable under her piercing gaze. She was right—I'd spent my whole life alone, surviving on scraps, seeing others turn their backs on me. The concept of love was as foreign to me as this new world.
"So, what if I don't end up loving you, Capella?" I asked, my voice steady but challenging.
She laughed, her voice laced with a dangerous edge. "Oh, my dear Aden, I don't care if you love me or despise me. I simply want to shape you. To mold you into something powerful. If that means you love me? Wonderful. If that means you hate me? Even better. Either way, you'll be mine."
"Wow, you're as Chaotic as you are evil" Capella's laughter filled the room, dark and melodic. "Oh, Aden, flattery will get you nowhere… or everywhere, depending on my mood." She tilted her head, her eyes narrowing with a glint of amusement. "But chaotic and evil, hmm? I'd say I'm simply honest about what I want."
I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms. "Sure, 'honest.' Twisting someone's appearance and calling it an 'experiment' isn't exactly what I'd call straightforward."
She only shrugged, unbothered. "You'll come to understand, Aden. The world doesn't care about fair or unfair. Power is the only truth that matters here, and I intend to make sure you have a taste of it. That is, if you survive."
Blasph let out a hiss that sounded suspiciously like laughter, almost as if he was mocking the both of us. He slithered down to my shoulder, his eyes fixed on Capella with a hint of wariness and curiosity. "Kid, you're diving headfirst into a mess even dragons wouldn't touch. But hey, it's your mess now."
"Thanks for the encouragement, Blasph," I muttered sarcastically,.
For some more time, o just watched and eventually fell asleep then was woken up.
I coul see pink eyes close to mine. "Oh you're finally awake, also can i ask where you contracted a great spirit from"
"Hmm you mean Blasph, he just kinda appeared, don't really know what i can do with him and he is annoying actually"
"I exist on your head"
"Shush"
"You have a strange energy on you, Pandora wants to meet you and i unfortunately can't refuse her at the moment" She said in irritation.
"Pandora feels like an ominous word for some reason" I suddenly felt something warm on my lips, i met eye to eye with capella as she placed a finger there. "She is selfish and would fo anything to complete her goals just like the rest of us"
I blinked and let her continue. "But you know i usually would have killed you the moment i met you, it's quite strange it is as if you have something that makes hostile beings less hostile to you"
My situation was strange but it wasn't that bad. "Eh sure"
Capella chuckled, clearly amused by my nonchalant response. "That's the spirit," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I like that you're not falling over yourself to please me. It makes you a bit more interesting."
I felt Blasph shift on top of my head, his claws lightly digging in as if he sensed the tension building in the air. "Kid, I'd keep a close eye on this one if I were you," he muttered, his voice low and almost wary. "She's got plans, and I don't think they're the type that end well for most people."
Capella glanced up at Blasph, her expression unimpressed. "Oh, don't ruin the fun, spirit. Aden's perfectly capable of making his own choices. Besides," she added with a wicked smile, "I find it refreshing. He has… potential. Maybe even more than he realizes."
I looked back at her, trying to keep my tone casual. "Potential for what exactly?"
Capella smirked, her voice dipping into that sickly sweet tone she always used when she was mocking someone. "Oh, my little Aden, don't look so confused. This isn't a charity, you know. Nothing in this world is given out of kindness," she purred, her words laced with barely hidden cruelty. "Even the crumbs I'm tossing you now? You'll have to earn those."
I forced myself not to flinch, meeting her gaze evenly. "Fine. But don't expect me to grovel just because you've got power."
Capella tilted her head, a laugh escaping her lips that sounded both melodic and menacing. "Aren't you just adorable? Acting all tough." She leaned in closer, her pink eyes gleaming with twisted amusement. "Let's be honest, Aden. I could snap my fingers, and you'd be gone in an instant. But where's the fun in that? I'd rather see what you're capable of… if anything."
I felt Blasph's claws dig slightly into my shoulder, a subtle warning. "This one's dangerous, kid," he murmured. "Don't get too comfortable."
"Oh, hush, little spirit," Capella chimed, waving a hand dismissively at Blasph. "You're just jealous that someone else might actually make Aden more interesting. And besides," she added, with a smirk that was both challenging and inviting, "isn't it better to live a little dangerously?"
I crossed my arms, trying to sound unaffected. "So what's your big plan here, Capella? Just… make me your little pet?"
She laughed, her voice high-pitched, almost playful in a disturbing way. "Oh no, darling. I don't need pets I need entertainment." Her eyes sparkled with a wicked gleam. "If you impress me, I might even consider you worthy enough to be an ally… if you're lucky."
I narrowed my eyes, trying to keep my tone steady. "And if I don't?"
Her smile widened, cold and sharp. "Well, then… let's just say I don't keep things that bore me." She straightened up, her expression lightening as though she'd just told a casual joke. "For now, you're useful enough. But don't disappoint me, Aden."
"Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence," I muttered.
Capella ignored the sarcasm, tapping her chin thoughtfully. "Pandora wants to see you, you know. You should feel honored. Or terrified." She shrugged, like it made no difference to her. "She'll likely have an offer for you. Take it if it suits you. Don't, if it doesn't. But you better not embarrass me in front of her."
Her mocking, sing-song tone lingered in the air as she turned and waved a hand dismissively, her voice fading. "Now go on, little Aden. Let's see if you're worth my time… or just another disappointment."
"ughhh fine, see you later then" I said dismissively.
Capella laughed, a sound that sent an uncomfortable chill through the room. "Oh, don't sound so glum, my little Aden. Who knows? You might even enjoy yourself." She gave me one last lingering look, a twisted blend of amusement and disdain, before she turned her back on me and resumed whatever dark task she had been attending to.
I glanced up at Blasph, who was now perched on my shoulder, his tail twitching in mild irritation. "You ready for this?" he asked, his voice low.
I sighed, not really sure what to expect from meeting someone as ominous as "Pandora." "Not really," I admitted. "But I don't think Capella's giving me much of a choice."
"Good instincts," Blasph muttered, coiling himself more securely on my shoulder. "This whole thing smells like trouble. But hey, what else are we here for, right?"
I forced a smirk, though I felt anything but confident. "Yeah… adventure and all that."
Blasph rolled his eyes. "Just remember, kid dangerous people rarely play fair."
With a final glance back at Capella, I made my way out of the room, each step heavy with the uneasy feeling that I was walking into something far bigger than I could understand. The hallway stretched before me, dimly lit, as if daring me to go further.
