Chapter 5 - A deal with Capella

"I had a good time sleeping, i really can't remember the last time i slept actually" I awoke from the bed whilst stretching a bit, i rubbed my eyes a little and then stood from where i was.

Suddenly the door was kicked open and i saw a girl with hands on her waist looking at me with an almost maddening smile. "That was obviously unnecessary".

I pointed towards the door. "hmmmm, Why would i care about a door made out of wood?, it can always be replaced don't you think or…are you just dumb".

"I may not be the brightest but i sure am not naive, Why did you come this late in the morning?" I asked, this time with a friendly smile.

She walked closer towards me with a grin. "haaa?, can't i visit my pet or have you forgotten you belong to me"

I myself want to beat her up for some reason as she mentioned that. "Maybe, but for some reason i feel like you're here for something, you kinda feel…frustrated?, Did one of the Archbishops piss you off"

She blinked almost suprised by how i described her. "It's been long since someone read me, that earns you some respect Aden"

"And your calling me by my pet name ok, atleast that's something" I said with a sigh.

She hummed and walked around. "I'm guessing Pandora gave you pride?"

"I rejected it" I immediately exclaimed.

"You can't reject a title, She will still call you pride even if you do reject it" She was now in front of me, i have to say i do not feel any threat coming from her but ar the same time she seems a bit too…obsessed with me. i glanced at the two ball like things beside her waists. "What are those things anyways"

"Tsk how rude but it's there so i can keep my mass in check" Mhm confusing but i understand, She's basically heavy.

As we communicated for some minutes, Well she was dissing me with insults for ten minutes straight which i feel caused some mental pain to me, She has a cruel mouth.

Blasph appeared on top of my head a few moments ago. Capella then pulled my precious face. "Are you hungry Aden, maybe i could feed you something…appetizing, But i wonder if you can eat me"

She licked her lips in a seductive way.

I have to be frank.

I don't think i feel anything towards her at the moment and also she is a sadistic little thing, if i could i would have rather just sleep more and ignore this. "No,no i can't i am a pure,i will have a pure mindset and i will maintain Purity"

I came up with this mantra specifically because of her, Blasph silently watched in amusement , Capella pouted and let go of my face. "You're no fun at all"

"Am I supposed to entertain your every whim?" I asked, rubbing my cheek where her fingers had left a slight chill.

Capella's pout deepened, her lips curling into a sly grin. "Oh, but I think you're a lot more entertaining than you let on," she said, stepping back with a mischievous gleam in her eyes. "You act so pure, so innocent. Yet here you are, bound to a creature like me."

Blasph flicked his tail, watching her closely from his perch on my head. "Capella, perhaps it's best if you leave the kid alone for a while," he hissed softly, though there was an edge of amusement in his tone.

She crossed her arms, casting a glance at Blasph before looking back at me. "Oh, don't worry, little dragon. I'm not here to cause trouble… just to remind our dear Aden that he's still mine," she purred, her fingers tracing a circle in the air around me as though drawing an invisible boundary. "And you'd better remember it, too."

I raised an eyebrow, letting out a slow breath to calm myself. "Yeah, yeah. I get it. I'm your 'pet,' right? But if that's all you came here to say, I'd like to go back to enjoying my morning."

Capella laughed, a low, mocking sound that echoed around the room. "Oh, Aden, you're going to be so much fun. Just don't forget, this world… it's as twisted as it is beautiful. You'd best stay on my good side."

With a final glance, she turned and sauntered out of the room, leaving the door swinging on its broken hinges. Blasph shook his head as she left. "I don't think she's used to people talking back to her. Well done, kid."

I sighed, scratching my head. "That was… exhausting. She's relentless. But why do I feel like she's up to something bigger than just taunting me?"

"Maybe, but do you want to know what type of gate you have" He asked.

"What's that?" Blasph tilted his head, a glint of curiosity in his eyes. "A gate is like a conduit for magic in this world. It's what allows you to harness mana and use abilities beyond mere mortal skills. Every gate has its own attribute—an affinity, you could say. Fire, water, wind, earth, even some rarer elements like shadow and light."

I frowned, trying to wrap my head around it. "So… you're saying that this gate is the reason I can use magic?"

"More or less," Blasph said, nodding. "But the attribute of your gate also defines the type of magic you can wield most effectively. You wouldn't want to go using water magic if your gate is attuned to fire, after all. It would drain you, probably kill you if you pushed it too far."

I raised an eyebrow. "Sounds a bit intense. So how do I figure out what attribute my gate has?"

Blasph smirked. "That's the interesting part. Usually, you'd sense it naturally, but if you've never used it before, you'll need guidance. A test, of sorts."

"A test?" I asked, my interest piqued.

Blasph nodded, his tail flicking in excitement. "Precisely. I'll help you through it. But it won't be easy. Depending on what we discover, you'll need to train to master it. And knowing your attribute is only the beginning."

I took a deep breath, feeling a mixture of anticipation and apprehension. "Alright. What do I need to do?"

Blasph floated down in front of me, his eyes narrowing. "Close your eyes. Focus on your breathing. I need you to dig deep within yourself, search for that dormant power. It's there, just waiting for you to recognize it."

I closed my eyes, doing my best to concentrate. I tried to tune out the faint sounds around me—the creak of the broken door, the faint crackle of magic in the air, Blasph's quiet breaths. Slowly, I began to feel something… a flickering warmth, pulsing faintly inside me. It was almost like a heartbeat.

"There," Blasph whispered, his voice barely audible. "Do you feel it?"

I nodded slowly. "Yeah, I think I do. It's… warm. But there's something else. Something… dark?"

Blasph's expression turned serious. "Interesting. It seems your gate might have a dual attribute. That's rare, even among the most powerful wielders."

"Dual attribute? What does that mean?" I asked, opening my eyes to look at him.

"It means your magic isn't bound to just one element. You could have access to both fire and shadow, for example. But mastering both will be twice as challenging and twice as dangerous." Blasph's tone was laced with caution.

"Sure, what should we do then, Spar with Capella?" I laced my voice with sarcasm.

*BANG*

"Did someone call me~" And ofcourse she breaks the door, i look at the whatever she is come close to me until she is very close to my face.

"You want me to train you" Why the hell is she getting closer to my face.

"No but are you trying to kiss me or something?" I asked curious by her actions.

She licked her lips and then leaned, our lips were practically touching.

She leaned in even closer, her breath warm against my skin, her eyes glinting with a twisted mix of amusement and mischief. "Maybe I am," she whispered, her voice a low purr, "but you'll have to catch me first if you want to stop it."

"What if i don't want to, what if i kissed you willingly"

"Well sure Kiss me,I don't mind" She said with a grin.

"Ok" Without a second thought, I leaned in and pressed my lips against hers. The room seemed to freeze for a moment as our lips met. Her eyes widened briefly, clearly not expecting me to follow through. A flicker of surprise danced across her face before she quickly masked it with her usual confident grin.

She pulled away slightly, her face still close enough that I could feel her breath. "Well, well, Aden," she murmured, her voice dripping with amusement. "You actually did it. I guess there's a bolder side to you after all."

I stepped back, rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly. "You dared me. I wasn't going to back down and let you win."

She smirked, brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Oh, I didn't lose anything, darling. If anything, you've just become even more entertaining to me."

"So have I captivated you 'master'" I said with sarcasm but I did want an answer.

She smiled. "I am capella, a member of the witches cult and the sin archbishop of lust, it will take more than that to captivate me"

Capella's grin widened, her gaze locking onto mine like a predator sizing up its prey. "But… you've certainly piqued my interest," she said, her tone a mix of challenge and intrigue. "Few dare to cross me like that, let alone willingly lean into my games. Aden, you're either incredibly brave or hopelessly foolish. Now since you want to train, how about I send you to the kingdom of Lugunica, Elsa and Meili will accompany you since I gave them a task to kill someone there. You can do whatever you want there"

"Hmmmmm sure, what's the catch, since iade a deal with Pandora the other day might as well make a deal with you" I said shrugging my shoulders.

She frowned. "Well, sure what kind of deal"

I crossed my arms, considering my options. "Here's the deal: If I go along with your little task in Lugunica, you have to guarantee me two things. First, no interference from your cult when it comes to my personal goals—whatever they may be. Second remove your blood from my body even if you didn't the blood of the Blasphemous dragon would erase it"

She thought for a moment. "Hmmm...well I just got you but what you said was true either way nothing would change you still owe me a favour, I will do those things"
