Synopsis

Chapter 1 - Chapter One (Isla)

Isla is the name she heard her father calling her since she felt her existence on that isolated island of Saint-Paul in the southwestern Indian Ocean, used for scientific research cabins.

Isla didn't know of any other place; she stayed on that island, deeply in love with the sea. She lived and saw herself reflected in its waves, like a mirror that only her best friend, the dolphin, could understand. With the company of her dolphin, she found love and affection, and they became inseparable. Isla's happiness was abundant, spending her time swimming and playing with her dog, Rocky. They performed amazing and enjoyable movements together, and Isla couldn't imagine being away from her father, who would call her when he needed something or when the weather changed.

Isla was a beautiful blonde girl in her early twenties, with blue eyes and long lashes. She was fit and graceful, and her small face was delicately outlined with a rosy complexion. Her father named her Isla after the island, and she spent her life with him, living and experiencing everything together on that remote and isolated island, far from humans. Her father gave her all the love and care she needed at every stage of her childhood.

For Isla, her father was both a teacher and a parent. He taught her various skills and familiarized her with different cultures and everything surrounding the world. Even though she never went anywhere or traveled, she didn't need to know anyone else besides her father, her world, and the small forest and house he built, which encompassed all the comforts despite its simplicity. The house had two floors: the first one was dedicated to her father's scientific research and contained various tools and advanced equipment, while the second floor was where they lived and slept.

Isla knew that her mother had passed away, as her father told her, but he often avoided completing the story of her mother, despite her persistent questions. However, her mother's absence left a deep impact on her, which her father's compassion and efforts to make her happy tried to fill, allowing her to live a balanced life full of love and the pure companionship of her dolphin friend.
