I told Elder Eric to come the other day and he agreed. Dorcas was confused about everything.
"Please, get the carriage ready. We are going to the royal harem. "
"Yes your majesty. "
After five minutes, I was in the carriage with Dorcas moving to the royal harem. Lady Siera and Lady Naomi welcomed me.
"What's this sudden visit for your majesty?" Asked Lady Siera.
"I wanted to see the part that had leakage. " I said smiling nicely.
"Please this way." Lady Siera led the way."About the medicine, we're very glad your majesty. "Lady Naomi said.
"Just doing my duties. I hope this can be enough before the other bags come."
"This is more than enough. "Both Lady Siera and Lady Naomi said with a smile.
I was shown to the store room and all leakages. I studied very single problem and even more in the place. After an hour, Dorcas and I went back.
"We will take our leave now." I said politely.
"Safe journey. "
Lamech helped me enter the carriage and I went back to the mansion.As I walked by, maids and servants bowed. I could hear whispers but I never minded.
"Get me a book and quill." I said. Though Dorcas didn't understand, she did as told.
I started with the drawing when I got the materials. Dorcas was a little astonished. She sat down waiting for other orders, but there was none. After an hour of carefully thinking and drawing, the drawing was done.
"Dorcas, what do you think?" I showed her the drawing. A correct sketch of the leakage and even other places that had to be renovated.
"That's so beautiful. It looks the royal harm's places of renovation and even the store room."She said excitedly.
Mabel and Samanta hearing it, rushed to see as well.
"Her majesty is amazing." They said proudly.
"Keep it save. Tomorrow, Elder Eric will come for it."I said.
"Her majesty is very sagacious." Dorcas said.
It was lunch time when Dorcas called up to me. I told her I wasn't hungry. That day, I didn't know why, but I felt I shouldn't go to the dinning room. I wasn't hungry anyway.
Meanwhile, Hezron came that day for lunch. He entered the hall and saw no one. He asked and was told I was a little late. He was served and began eating, but I didn't show up.Later, he was informed I said I wasn't hungry. He was apoplectic. He even three his spoon away.
"That mannerless girl, how dare her!" He said coldly.
The maids presence were all afraid. He walked out annoyed. He used anger in doing his work. Everyone felt his cold aura. That night,he went to Vanessa annoyed.
"What makes his majesty apoplectic?" She asked sweetly.
"That asinine girl refused to dine with me." He said coldly.
"His majesty want to eat with her?"Vanessa asked a little hurt.
"Not what you are thinking Vanessa. I'm doing that because of the rules. I've not seen her after our first breakfast when she arrived." Hezron said annoyed.
"His majesty should relax. That girl doesn't need your attention. I am here. Let me cool you down." Vanessa said removing her clothes.
"You really know how to calm me."He said.
"Of course. If not me, who else."She removed her clothes. She was all naked in from of him.
"How do l look?" She asked turning around with her nakedness.
"Beautiful " He pulled her towards him.
"Can't wait?" Asked Vanessa seductively.
"You know the answer."He answered and started kissing her. The night was blissful for them.Vanessa woke up after some hours and saw Hezron dressing.
"Leaving already?"Asked Vanessa. She covered herself with the blanket since she was naked under.
"Yes, I have some other things I have to do."
"Will I see you tonight?"Asked Vanessa as her hands were supporting her head.
"No."He answered. He was already dressed. He gave her a light kiss.
"See you later.Take care."
Hezron went back to his chamber. Thinking about me made him annoyed. But a part of him wanted to know me. He was only annoyed and didn't likr me because i was chosen by his father. He felt suppressed with me. He felt under control when it had to do with me. Before he even met me, he already hated me.
The next day, I woke up feeling refreshed. Mabel and Samanta helped me bath. Dorcas arranged my dress for the day. They braided my hair with ornaments before they placed the crown on my head.
"Her majesty is always beautiful. "Dorcas said.
"Your behavior is just like Ana's"
"Does her majesty prefer Ana more than me?" She asked politely.
"I prefer the both of you. Ana was my personal maid when she was sixteen. I've been together with her since then. She's married with two children. A boy and a girl. The boy is Obed and the girl is Anna. They are very cute. I miss them a lot." I said sadly.
"I'm sorry. " Dorcas said .
"It's nothing. I would have left them anyway."
I got to hear the information later that, his majesty came yesterday. I didn't know if I should cry or laugh. I heard he was wry annoyed. Did he really think he could come anytime he wanted and I would leave everything for him. He must be a joke. I pretended to be sorry, but deep inside, I was delirious. Either way, I wasn't planning on apologizing to him. We cared about no one. He does what he wants and I do the same.
Elder Eric visited as he promised. I showed him the drawing and he was proud.
"I will get on to it. Her majesty shouldn't worry." He said genuinely.
"I believe you."
"I'm always available when her majesty needs me." He smiled.
They bid farewell and left the place. Hezron was in his study room when Amos entered.
"Did she take him there?" He asked coldly.
"No. She instead drew the place and brought it to Eric." Amos reported.
"A spacious and prideful woman. She's also arrogant, to ask me, she will rather draw." He chuckled evilly.
"Her majesty just doesn't want to disturb his majesty. " Amos tried to defend her.
"Are you on his side?" Asked Hezron coldly.
"No, your majesty. I don't think her majesty is what you think. You should get to know her more. I know you already love Lady Vanessa, but she also has the right the know the truth and be understood. You can't judge a book by its cover. " Amos said. Hezron looked coldly at him."Pardon me your majesty. " Amos bowed, but he meant every word he said.
Hezron was already in love with Vanessa so he kept judging people by heart (basabasa ). The worse was he was blaming her majesty for something which wasn'ther fault. She was only two years when the marriage was set. His majesty's problem was her birth. If she wasn't born, all this wouldn't have happened.
Was it her fault that she was born? Did he want her death after birth or what? Amos was never in support of what Hezron thought of her majesty. Also, because of his love for Vanessa, he has been blinded of what was real. Vanessa was not the good girl and right girl he thought. As a slave, he couldn't say anything but accept what his master does.
