Chapter 10 - Together

The little girl called Tina help my hand as we went inside the palace. Mrs. Lun showed us around the place. Tina never left my hand and I never cared. Instead I liked it. The place wasn't that good, but it was enough for them. We needed to renovate some places for them. I noted them down.

We came back to the ball where all the children were gathered. Tina was still with me. I made her sit beside me so none could complain.

"Your crown is very beautiful your majesty." She said.

"Call me sister." I said. I removed my crown and placed it on Tina. Dorcas and Amos gasped.

"You look beautiful. A better queen one day." I said smiling.

"It's time to start." His majesty said. He didn't care with what I did with the crown. He already knew what I can do.

"After some minutes, Kacy will also try wear some. Then the rest who wants to study the crown." I smiled and they smiled. I didn't want to be bias. I felt the gaze of Hezron on me, but it didn't feel cold like the other times.

"We are here to help all of you in education."Hezron said. Their faces turned dull.

"Education as in the one that will help you. We want to know what you all like to do so we can help you improve. In that case, when you go out, you can earn money for yourselves. " I explained.

"Really?" They exclaimed excitedly.

"Of course. We don't want you to suffer outside the world." I added.

"You're so caring your majesty." A child in her teen said.

"Your majesty makes me feel superior. I'm only a year older than some of you here. Just call me by my name." I said softly.

"Pardon me to ask, but what's your name?" A boy around twelve asked.

"I'm Love." I said.

"No wonder you're so loving." A girl in her teen said.

"Thank you. Let's get to the point. What do you guys like to do. Don't be shy." I added politely.

"I love to write stories." A girl named Rhoda said. She was fourteen years old.

"I love to dance."

"I love to play the flute."

"I love to design dressed."

"I love to solve puzzles."

"I love to dress hair."

"I love to fight with sword."

"I wish I could learn archery."

Many kept saying what they loved to do.

"I don't know what I love to do." A boy in his teen said.

"Me either." Another said. Many also kept saying they didn't know what to do.

"I love flowers." A girl around eight said.

"I love to create things." A ten year old boy said.

"I love to listen to music." Tina said.

"I love to sing." Kacy said.

"I love to play instruments and the sound of it. I've always wanted to learn them." A boy said. He looked around eleven.

"I love to research. " A six year old boy said.

"I love to act and entertain others." Another one said.

Many kept saying what they loved to do. Others were very happy explaining what they wanted to do.

"Thank you. We will be dividing you all according to what you love to do. Don't worry, I will help you find the things you like." I said with a smiley face.

"If I say I love to eat, would that count?"Asked a fat boy around nine. Everyone laughed.

"Sure, you can help the good factory." I said.

He smiled back at me. We chatted more with the children. They were all happy and blissful. They were also great and friendly. They were just lovable.

"This crown with ruby stones, silver and golden. The structure was made to fit no matter what. Is that an emerald stone in the middle?" Asked Leon.

"Good. How did you know all these?" I asked proud of him.

"I love to study minerals and love crafting." He said.

"I believe the crafting sector will help you more."

Others were into Beads making, pottery and leather work. All were group according to what they wanted.

"There will be assigned teachers for you all. You will get the chance to move out as well." I said and the younger ones screamed in joy.

My interaction with them was joyful. I think I will never forget this day. I had lunch with them as they wanted. The children showed me to their places and most favorite objects. I played nicely with them without caring about the world.

"Her majesty is very kind-hearted. She looks like a child."Amos said.

"A happy one. She really care less about rules that restrict others." Dorcas said.

"Her carefree life is tolerable." Amos said.

"Right now, she looks nothing like the empress but a girl wanting happiness." Dorcas said.

All these were heard by Hezron. They were right. Looking at her from a different perspective, she was nothing like he thought. She was the complete opposite.

It was all over and we needed to go back. Measures were taken and the children had their teachers. Some little formal education was added. Other materials needed were taken to the orphanage.

A week passed without Hezron seeing Vanessa. She became devastated and regretted her words. She decided to visit Heroin and apologize. He was in his study room when Vanessa was allowed inside.

"Greetings your majesty. " She greeted. Amos moved out knowing what's between the two.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"Can his majesty forgive me? I was annoyed and said inappropriate words. I will account for my mistakes. Please forgive me. I can't leave without you." She faked tears. Since he cannot bear to see her tears, Hezron forgive her and accepted her. She had an evil smirk when she hugged Hezron again.

"Just don't repeat the same mistake."He said.

"I won't. I know how much you love me." Vanessa said. They kissed each other.
