Karma watched on his screen as Amos battered the Barrier Between Worlds. He watched, as the body the Grim Reaper had created for himself was slowly burned by the fires of Give and Take.
It must hurt, Karma knew. Even if originally, Amos was just bones and robes, it still did not mean that he could not feel pain.
Being human was a luxury which the Grim Reaper had wanted for himself. Now he was paying the price.
Karma looked at his second screen where Alex, the flying pig, was sitting next to Ben, who looked pale as freshly fallen snow.
The eyes of the being moved to the screen with Amos.
Then back at Alex, who was looking at something in the distance with half-closed eyes.
Karma blinked, as something black appeared in the corner of his eye. Another black curl. Bigger and healthier, this time.
Karma sighed, put an illusion over it, and then took his blade from the wall.
