"Why?"
It was a simple word, but it shook the world. Amos lowered his gaze as he looked upon Lin, whom he had captured in a glass castle. How was Amos to tell him that the fairy had taken a burden of his own?
"Why?!"
Amos looked on, as Lin kept on punching the glass. No, there should never be another Fate, Amos had decided. Just because his father had named an heir before plunging after the Universe did not mean that the man's wish had to be honored.
"WHY?"
Amos looked on, as Lin collapsed on the ground, his body rocked from sobs.
A picture of Gog as the new Champion of Death before him. Blood could not turn into water. Even if Lin had not been able to recognize his brother before, the truth was now reviled.
"Why?"
The last whisper hurt Amos the most.
He had no answer to it all. No answer to the injustice done to the fairy women by the goblins.
