"Mhhh….What to do…." Looking over at the tablet, I was now stuck on what to do, My AI didn't work, for oblivious reasons, my game got so many review bombs from angry users to the point of it getting the attention of the site manager and they took it down, so I kind of don't have anything to do.
What's more, it was the rare time I was alone, Mama went out to meet with someone from work she said, Grandpa Kel and Grandma Judy are out to get a health check, that was the name of the farmer's grand couple, by the way. Oh, and today the nursery didn't open too.
"Oh…wow, I just realized I've never been alone before…dang. And I actually…have nothing to do… Too lazy to work on my code skills, too lazy to make games, and no motivation to do nothing…"
I just lie down on the floor while looking at the ceiling, a rare time where I truly did nothing, it made me realize that I was…always busy. Well, as busy as a kid can get, but I never have that time where I just sit and…relax…that does not count toward me making Mama get some of her deserved rest because, in my mind, I was constantly worried about her.
Today makes me feel very lazy for some reason…
Slowly, I got up from the ground and started walking toward the kitchen, where I opened to fridge to find some snacks, in there, I found a frozen beef jerky, my eye instantly found the microwave up on the counter, so I got some stool to stood on, place paper towel on the plate and put the frozen jerky in there, I put it on high heat and wait for a few minutes, after hearing the ring of the microwave, I take it out and put it on the table-
"Eh…" I stared at my hand, it was bright red but… I couldn't feel a thing, no burning sensation or even numbness…just…nothing. "That…weird." I try and touch the plate again, this time, the heat instantly registers and I wince in pain, blowing air at my finger.
Just to be safe, I let the cool water run through my hand to lower the temperature and before I knew it, my hand was back to its original color, snowish white with a tint of pink.
"hm…Weird, maybe it's just my body still young? Well, not like it was anything particularly concerning." Shrugging it off, I then slowly enjoy the crispy jerky on the Couch while watching TV.

"Yoha! Are you ready, dear?" The call of Mama coming from downstairs was quite muffled as the door to my room was closed, I opened it up a little and yelled down.
"Almost!" I heard a distance ok, as she replied then I closed the door and went back to the mirror, admiring myself in front of it.
The little blue Parka that covered me, made me look quite fluffy, the wool blue glove was both comfortable and warm and the blue beanie was covering my head very well, not even uncomfortable in the least.
My black skirt was to my knee but I was wearing quite the thick stocking, that covered my entire leg, protecting me from the cold, now you might wonder why would it be cold in a space station where the temperature could be controlled with just a flick of a button?
Well, the reason is that the human body needs to experience multiple types of temperatures since we were adapted to that way, just like how there are germs and dirt even in this space station because if you didn't get exposed to those as a child, your body wouldn't adapt to it and leading to weak immune system.
Another reason is they want to make the environment as close to Earth as possible, though the smell of salt in the air was still there, since well…Dark Oxygen needs salt water, resulting in those faint salty smells that bother no one.
"Mmh… Well, Genetics is truly terrifying, no matter which angle I look cute, even from behind…" Staring at the mirror from various angles and poses, I truly came to understand what it mean to be a girl, getting happy from looking at myself was certainly something I never experienced as a man.
It is similar to the feeling I felt when I saw my nephew dress nicely, cute and handsome, maybe that is just how uncles are, well, I wonder how k-...ken…eh…?
"Why…can't I remember, his name?" No, no no no, there's no way I would forget, I raised that boy up like my own son after all, so how would I forget his name? Right, first let's start by remembering my own name so that I can slowly remember him.
"Right…I am….Who…am I? Am I…Yoha? Or am I the man who got reincarnated…? Urg.!" Suddenly, a sudden headache assaulted me, the pain was constant in my brain as I tried to remember even my own name, but….but! Why can't I….Remember!?
"Urg…arghhh!" The splitting headache was so painful, so tormenting, I wanted it to stop but it wouldn't!
"Yoha! What took you so long?" I could hear Mama's yelling, her footsteps, and the air she breathed, it was as if I could hear every little detail! Even the little creak as her foot leaves the stairs!
It's painful! It hurt! So so damn much! My ears are ringing, my head is throbbing! Even my eyes feel strained! My arm feels weak! And muscle pain I never experienced before came crashing down as if I would die!
"Yoha? Yoha!" Her touch felt as if a hundred ant just crawl on my skin, making me flinch away and slap her arm, her voice only just made the pain in my ears even worse!
It felt as if my hair was standing up! I felt both cold and hot at the same time, my head felt like a hundred needles were pricing it then after got poured down boiling hot water and followed up by a freezing cold ice bath!

"Yoha." Suddenly, a stern voice was coming into my head, loud and clear without me ever feeling the pain in my ear, a firm touch on my shoulder that didn't make my skin crawl with disgust. "Breath out till you can't anymore. As if there was no air left in your lungs."
I did as the voice told me, as I put my focus on pushing every bit of air out of my body in one huge breath.
"Slowly, inhale and exhale again." Slowly, slowly, I could feel my skin stop crawling with discomfort, my ear slowly stop ringing, and the watery feeling in my nose stopped happening.
"Now, lie down and look up on the floor, slowly, understood?" I did as the voice said, and when I lay down to look at the ceiling, I found out that the person speaking was Mama, her eyes that were gold seemed much more bright and…sad.
Suddenly, her hand reached for my neck, and before I knew it, darkness overcame me.

Araya looked at her sleeping daughter, before taking out a handkerchief and wiping the blood off her daughter's nose, her hand was reaching for Yoha's cheek, tenderly caressing it as if just one wrong touch and she would break it.
"First symptom start at 9:45, December 25th, estimate time till the second symptom should occur around…5 months. Her birthday is it. It comes… surprisingly fast." Her voice was cold, as she was expecting this to happen, though, not this fast, not this time and maybe, even hope that her blood would be so thin out but that simply was not possible.
Her hand reached for her phone, calling the number that she had become used to as of late since Aray needed for work, with the third ring, the phone was picked up.
"This is Hemston Speaking, How can I serve you, Lady Araya." The calm voice responds to her call.
"Get that old man on the call, now." She said, waiting for a few seconds before the annoying voice of a man came straight to the call.
"What do you want, brat? I have work, ya know! Work in my age!" The old voice spoke with such sarcasm Araya wanted to punch him in the guts, but she needed to calm down, it was not the time.
"She shows the symptoms, First stage and second stage will come on her birthday if my calculation is correct." Her words shut the man up for a few seconds before a hysterical chuckle escaped the old man as if he were going crazy.
"Hehehe Ahahaha! So that's it huh! Can't escape your blood, isn't it!? Ahahaha!" The man continues laughing, uncaring of anything.
"This is not a laughing matter." She said, without any emotion.
After a few crackles, the man stopped completely. "Right, right. This is not a laughing matter for you, but it seems to be for me since I win our bet, well, the chance of you winning is neigh impossible after all. Now then, I will be waiting and you better call me when you ready" At that, the voice was cut off, Araya could feel her anger rise to the point that the phone was starting to crack under the pressure of her hand, shaking her head.
Araya put the phone back down on her jeans before she took Yoha up in her arms and placed her down on the bed, with a deep breath, she turned her frown into a smile before her hand reached for her daughter's neck again.
