"Vance," Xander called his head soldier into his chamber.
"Yes my prince," came Vance's deep voice as he hurried into the chamber.
"What do you think?" Xander asked, as Vance stood in front of him.
Vance's expression turned whirl, as he stared at the prince.
"About what?."
"Me taking a wife."
This time around, Vance had a frown on his face.
"A wife?."
Xander turned to Vance and nodded to his question, his face holding the look that he was serious.
"Why, if I may ask," Vance questioned.
"So I can start making babies before I finally become king".
"It's not a bad idea, but I think we should talk about this after tomorrow's meeting," Vance suggested, earning a glare from Xander.
"Are you insinuating that I'm not the chosen one?," Xander Icily asked.
"No, your highness. You know prince Logan is corny, so let's just wait until after," Vance explained.
"Are you even okay?," Xander snarled. "He won't even be allowed into the throne room tomorrow, talk more about being chosen."
"Vance. Logan is an illegitimate child, that I know for sure," Xander angrily voiced.
"My prince, let's be truthful to ourselves and not Ignore the fact that he has all the qualities of a king. The ministers only suggested the involvement of the high priest, cuz they knew your father was going to choose you. I think they all prefer lord Logan, because he's powerful, I mean the troop," Vance narrated, leaving Xander in deep thought.
He can never be alive, and watch that illegitimate son be king, never!.
"I'm the first seed of king Dre, and only I can be king," Xander angrily spoke, with a stern voice, standing beside the window.

"Really?," Queen Zenith exclaimed, listening to her son.
Gavin was the one who always kept her posted, regarding matters of the throne room.
"Logan is never late, maybe he didn't get the information on time," Queen Zenith said, and Gavin supported.
"But unfortunately, he won't be allowed to join the meeting by tomorrow," Gavin added, and queen Zenith could only shake her head in pity.
"At least it'll be best on his part. He won't have to bear the pain of witnessing Xander being crowned," queen Zenith voiced.
"Mom, the high priest is going to invoke the higher powers, to know who the crown prince will be. Do you still think Xander...."
"Of course," Queen Zenith interrupted. "Logan can never be the chosen one, neither can you" Gavin went quiet, staring at his mother.
Seeing that she was beginning to get serious, he kept shut.

"Lashonda you don't have to stress yourself too much, you know it's not good for your health. I have no food to feed you with," Peggy said to her sister, who was still busy arranging the fishes.
"You know it's been almost twenty four hours since dad collected the money, and very soon the castle will begin to request for their supply. I know you won't like that."
"But your health matters more," Peggy argued.
"I'm fine," Lashonda assured, smiling at her sister.
In a few hours, they were done with everything, and it was ready to be supplied.
"All done," Lashonda voiced, happily clapping her both hands together.
"Yeah, thank God," Peggy replied, giving the package a last touch.
"Are you okay?," Peggy asked Lashonda with furrowed brows.
Lashonda hurriedly sat down, with a sour face.
"Yeah, I'm just thirsty," Lashonda replied, forcing a smile.
"Okay," Peggy replied, rushing into the kitchen.
She never takes her sister for granted, she's always conscious of her, cos of her health condition. Lashonda was the only person she had on earth, she couldn't actually count her father as a family member.
Before Peggy could return with the water, Lashonda was already on the floor, writhing in pain.
"Lashonda!!." The cup of water fell from Peggy's hand to the ground.
With tears in her eyes, she hurried to her sister who was beginning to fall unconscious.

Tom walked home happily, as he whistled. The sun was already beginning to set, he's just returning from gambling, he had won every single person today.
His pocket was so heavy, that he watched his back as he walked. His smiling face turned to a frown, as he saw Peggy running up to him.
"Dad," she called in tears.
"What happened? Why are you crying? Did someone steal the fishes?," Tom asked multiple questions.
"No dad, it's Lashonda," Peggy cried.
"Yeah, what happened to her?".
"She has collapsed, it's her heart again".
"That's the reason you ran up to me crying? Haven't I told you not to involve me in anything that concerns Lashonda? Don't you know that I wish she dies?".
"Dad there's no time for this, Michael has refused to treat her on credit," Peggy kept crying.
"That's good, you're the only one I count as my child. I was cursed with Lashonda, that witch," Tom concluded, walking away, leaving the crying girl.
Peggy stared at her father as he walked away. No one was going to lend money to them, she can't watch her sister die.
She had no other choice than the last option.
**
Micheal stared at Lashonda who Peggy left with him, claiming she was going to get money. He knew she wouldn't be able to find the money so fast, and Lashonda was already dying slowly.
"Stupid girl , you won't obey the obligation of food consumption, neither will you take medication," he cursed, staring at Lashonda.
Obviously Michael could tell that she'll die soon. Her episodes might come everyday until she dies.
Michael had tried searching for a permanent cure to her heart disease, but he hadn't found any clue.

It was the next morning and Logan was beside his horse, prepared to go hunting.
Princess Seraphina walked towards him smiling. Only then did he remember that they were supposed to go together.
"Logan, you're so not sweet. If I hadn't arrived on time you would have left without me," Seraphina said, walking towards Logan with her lips pouted.
"Where's your horse?," he asked, ignoring what she just said .
"I'm riding with you," she replied smiling.
"With me?," Logan asked with arched brows.
"Yeah, with you. Is there anything wrong with sharing a horse with my brother?".
"My princess, there's nothing wrong, but your mother the queen will...."
"That's garbage," Seraphina said, cutting the butler short. "I'm riding with Logan, and that's final".
"What? Don't you want me to ride with you? My horse is sick," she added, seeing Logan's hesitation.
"I'll get you another horse," Logan offered, and she shook her head.
"No, I want to ride with you," she purred
"Okay fine," Logan agreed and she smiled, excited .
Logan climbed up the horse and helped Saraphina up
"Hold on tight," Logan instructed, before he rode away.
His soldiers immediately followed behind him.
**
"What do you mean you can't find Seraphina?," queen Zenith barked at the servant she sent to get her daughter.
"Have you searched in Logan's manor?," queen Zenith asked her.
"No," the woman replied and was about to hurry away, when the queen stopped her.
"I'll go myself ". The queen stood up, heading to Logan's manor.
The butler in Logan's palace bowed, immediately he saw the queen.
"Out of my way," Queen Zenith said as she forged ahead.
"Good afternoon your highness, but lord Logan isn't home," the butler politely informed.
"He went hunting with princess Seraphina".
The queen paused her step and turned around to look at him.
"And why did he take Seraphina with him?".
"She asked to".
"Tell Seraphina to return to me once she's back," she instructed and the butler nodded.

In the throne room everyone was silent, watching the high priest.
"My king, the gods can't elect the crown prince. Make a choice and the gods will confirm if it's a yes, or no".
Everyone quietly turned to the king, anticipating what he was about to say.
"Xander," came his baritone voice.
The high priest nodded, and began flipping the coins again. Everyone moved their gaze back to the high priest, who was busy flipping the coins.
"Xander. He can't be your successor, and besides the gods are also mad at him. He has committed an atrocity," the high priest explained, leaving everyone gasping.
"Do you have another?" the high priest questioned.
The king paused after listening to the high priest, he was in a really tight corner right now, things must go as planned.
"Yes. Gavin," he responded, and murmurs immediately took over the throne room.
