The Profanity system had never lit up with a notification after Brutus killed a person before, not that he really had much opportunities to kill since jumping back in time since he was so busy servicing the women in his life.
When Brutus created the Profanity system, he created it with the sole purpose of aiding his rise to the top through dual cultivation.
It would simplify cultivation for him, while helping him easily compile the qi energy that he gained from dual cultivation in the form of cultivation XP.
But Brutus did not restrict the utility of his system.
The system may not have the ability to do much else outside dual cultivation and sexual interactions with women, but Brutus also managed to give it another utility to aid in his rise to the top.
