Brutus woke up with a gleam in his eyes.
All the pent-up exhaustion, the feeling like his bones were about to give way at any moment, all of it was gone as he stared up at the beautiful face of Casablanca who was now looking down at him.
Brutus sat up the next moment, and when he did did Brienne Ironheart finally know that she was awake.
She rushed to his side. "You're awake".
Brutus nodded, looking around. "Where is Aveline?"
"She went down the mountain to anchor an event with the outer disciples of the sect. Today is their annual combat ranking tournament".
Brutus nodded but he kept on looking around. "Where is he?"
Hearing that, Brienne Ironheart took in a deep breath and answered. "Cedric took him outside the sect, they went hunting for beasts".
"After seeing Aveline's Griffin and Cedric's White Tiger, he developed a yearning to have his own tamed beast".
