Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

CHAPTER TWO

With a lingering agitation over the atmosphere, everyone staring at him in suspense.

"What do you want?" Mikel grilled out in an icy tone, merely fazed by the sight of the gun pointed at him.

All running through his mind was the calculation of bridging their distance, smacking that gun off his hand, and smashing him to his death.

However, the tool repeatedly played it part, keeping him restricted as he glared at the muzzle paralleling his gaze.

"It's simple actually, just a transaction of some millions." He stated, his tone humorous, flicking the gun in their faces to keep them attentive.

Sylvie from where she stood has her head bowed, tears streaming down her face uncontrollably.

Her mind the least conscious of her surroundings or the situation, the only thing chanting in her head was the obvious fact that her boyfriend of how many years is a cheater.

Out of nowhere, she sank to her knees. Hands holding to her chest as she glanced up to face him, his emotionless expression sizing her up on the floor.

"There is nothing interesting or important that you have to offer me, so either get out or I'd satisfy the idea of putting a bullet through your brains." The sentence voiced out to Sylvie, making sure the target of his gun shifted to her.

Sylvie knew he was talking to her, her lashes flapped closed as tears cracked through, continuously wetting her cheeks.

She couldn't believe what was happening, or was this guy not her boyfriend. Perhaps he's a look alike, or a doppelgänger if they existed.

"I'm going to count to three, and if you're still here, I will be sure to send flowers to your funeral." He laid out another threat, this time in a serious tone as he began the said count down.

"Two!"

Sylvie pushed up to her feet, voiding her face of the streaming tears as she turned around exiting the room in a quick pace.

She strolled by the hallway, in a skittish mood with her legs pulling sluggishly.

The tears she stopped from rolling were back, coming out twice the folds.

Her hands crossed on her chest as she descend the stairs carefully, totally not conscious of her actions.

All running through her mind was the harsh reality of her boyfriend breaking her heart, ripping it out and shredding it to pieces.

He played her, was never in love with her she could tell, and then cheated on her with someone she least expected him to.

That brought her into questioning, how did he get acquainted with her boss's wife. Sure she's always discuss with him on how generous and caring both couples were to her, but never for us put them up for introduction.

Sylvie arrived back at the kitchen, too shattered to even continue with the meal she was preparing.

She turned off the cooking gas, plopping into a seat behind the kitchen's island.

Salty fluids escaped her orbs, as she rest her face into her palm, her elbow aiding the position on the counter.

With everything she's given to him, all she's given up for him.

Her head fell down on her crossed hands, wailing out sobs as her head rammed through memories that broke her the more.

His promise to her, their plans together. She trusted him.

Why would he do this to her, why would he not only break her heart, but shatter her completely? Her soul, her mind, her mind, all was plunged and pulled into a void filled with travails.

Her heart weighed with pain, the triggering emotion that brought her bawling in tears. Her heart wrenched, wishing all that was happening wasn't real.

But it was, her boyfriend of five years never loved her.

Sylvie laughed out in sorrow at the thought of that, sniffing hard as she wiped a tear off her eyes.

"What the fuck!" She weeped out the words, followed by a mirthless chuckle. She got off the seat, striding over to the fridge.

Opening the door, her eyes searched through the content filling the shelves, not satisfied by what she's seeing.

She pushed her feet forward, stalking out of the kitchen as she marched over to the lounge section.

Her mind mused back to the scene, containing her boss, his wife, and her Judas of a boyfriend.

He sure would have gotten what he came to get, considering he came prepared.

She arrived behind the bar's counter, faced with the shelves that housed alcoholic beverages and wines.

She reached for a bottle, screwing it open as she instantly gulped in her sorrow.

She took a seat, thoughts riding back to her current latitude. Drowning her feelings into the bottle of vodka, gulping after another gulp.

She smiled painfully, her head starting to spin as she fought to stay conscious. The bottle she picked was now half drank and empty, this was going to be her first drinking.

After long minutes of guzzling intoxicants, her head was now spinning and the need to go rest overwhelmed her.

The horrendous pain of her heart wrenching, twisting in sorrow, writhing in agony was gone for now and the moment. The sad, traumatic, heartbreaking scene that procreate the sensation in her heart had hid away somewhere in her brain, definitely to resurface whenever her head is cleared.

Sylvie pushed to her feet, keeping her eyes opened and wide. Two bottles of vodka, and one of whiskey down on the floor her feet dragged cautiously through.

She kept her steps slow, her stance staggering as she stalked her way through the hallway trying to locate her room from her blurred vision.

"Whoops! Gosh!" She wheezed out, shaking her head to keep herself in check as darkness fought to talk over.

A figure showed up far from her, her cloudy eyes wouldn't allow a perfect assessment of whoever was coming closer.

Soon enough the distance shrunk into a proximity, and darkness won the battle with Sylvie.

Her body lost control as she fell straight, landing on something hard and soft at the same time.

Sylvie jerked back to consciousness, slapping her own face to keep herself awake.

"Who are you?" Her slurred voice queried, looking up at the handsome face that seemed strange and unknown.

Her palm stretched out, dropping the bottles she had with her as she cupped the bony cheeks of the familiar stranger.

Mikel who was just returning from his study room, where he had went to sulk after his wife betrayed him, and was robbed of some petty dollars. He'd found solace inside the wine bottles kept in his drawer, and had drank away his sadness and senses to stupor. Not wanting to confront his wife just yet, albeit he has to.

He has to know why she did it? What he wasn't giving to her that made her look for it with someone else. She had tried apologizing and taking to him after the guy left, but he just couldn't look her in the eyes and left the room for his study room.

He was making his way back to his own room when a body bumped into him. He squinted, looking into the face of the body he held from falling down, briefly recognizing her as Sylvie until his drunk brain distorted his vision into believing he's looking at his wife.

"Why would you cheat on me?" Mikel questioned, his rigid body towering above hers as he pulled her closer so he could stand up against her.

"Dorian?" Her tone brimmed with confusion. She was also seeing a different image. "Dorian, it was you who cheated on me not the other way around. I loved you and you broke my heart." She campaigned her own distress, hands rubbing all Mikel as he pushed her softly into the nearest wall.

"You love me?" He quizzed, face nestling into the crook of her neck as he labeled a kiss, he sucked gently on the skin before moving his mouth to her ear.

"Tell me you love me!" He instructed, clearly losing control over his actions as he began raving her body.

"I love you." Sylvie rasped out in a heated voice, his touching all over her lighting her on a fire that drove passion into the moment.

"Yes you do." His palm gripped her neck, directing her face into looking right into his. Sylvie smiled at the beautiful sight of Dorian, closing her eyes the moment she felt him leaning in for a kiss.

He captured her into a rough kiss, moments becoming frenzy as they mixed saliva coated with the taste of alcohol.

His burning with the sweet and tasty flavor of a Chardonnay, while hers reeked with Whiskey mixed with Vodka.

They moved around, kissing their way into a room and eventually onto a bed.

His hand raved around her body, shedding her of the clothes she had on. She did the same, eager to feel him deep and buried inside her wet clenching core.

In seconds, their wears flew across the room leaving them bare and engrossed in each other.

His phallus located her entrance, capturing her in a kiss before plunging in and moving at a steady pace.

Moans rasped out from both parties, his hand laid by her nape keeping her face settled on his as he thrust in and out steadily.

"Fuck Michelle, you feel so good. Fuck Michelle." A deep voice rang out, belonging to Mikel Adams, thinking he was in bed with his wife.

A deed committed under the guise of alcohol.
