Chapter 41 - Chapter 41 Library romance I

[How stupid she thinks I can befriend her and the rest again, hmm, in her dreams.] Maya thought as she walked away from Namy. [Hm, you think I will agree to scheme something again with you guys? Me? Hmm, I am not that fool.] Maya said in her head, walking in the school premises.

"Aria!" Helena called from behind.

Hearing Helena's voice, Aria, who was in the company of Ace, turned around to look at her friend, who was running from behind.

"What's wrong, Helena? Why are you running like this in your short skirt?" Ari asked.

"Hey, Ace," Helena said.

"Hey, Helena," Ace replied with a deep voice, looking at her curiously.

"I need to take her away right now. I'm sorry, but you have to continue later," Helena said, brushing off what Aria had asked earlier. Seeing Ace nodding his head, Helena took hold of Aria's hand, dragging her away from where she was.

"What's wrong?" Aria asked when they walked far away from Ace.

Halting in her tracks, Helena turned around and blurted out, "A few minutes ago, I was walking upstairs when a guy stopped in front of me, then coolly said, 'I love you'."

Hearing her friend's confession, Aria's eyes widened. "Seriously?"

"Yes, of course. You know he's even blushing. Out of all the girls in the school, he didn't see anyone to love but me. Seriously," Helena said, now in anger.

"Oh, I can't believe this. God," Aria said, looking at the angry Helena.

"And what happened after that? What did you tell him?" Aria asked.

"I told him I don't like him. What do you expect me to say?" Helena said, turning her face away.

"You rejected him quite early," Aria said.

"You, Aria... hmm," Helena took a deep breath before continuing. "Helena, do you know my type in men?" Helena asked, looking at Aria.

"Uhm, of course, I know," Aria said, now understanding what Helena meant.

Looking at Aria, who said yes, Helena smiled. "Good that you know. Hmm, good," Helena said, smiling.

But the next second, both ladies burst into laughter, bringing people's attention to them.

"Hmm, he is out of his mind," Helena cursed.

"No, he is stupid," Aria cursed, following Helena.

"I have to put in mind to look for a boyfriend before the end of this term," Helena said.

"Oh, are you so eager, or do you just want to send anyone away because you don't want to get into relationships?" Aria asked.

"Yes, I don't think it's the right time, isn't it? Even if it's you, I know if you hadn't fallen in love with Ace, you wouldn't get into such stuff, like relationships, right?" Helena asked.

Listening to what Helena was saying, Aria sighed. Helena was right; she couldn't have gotten into a relationship if she hadn't fallen in love with Ace.

"Yes, and even if I did, and he didn't confess, I would have never agreed or said I love him. Not that I ever uttered it to him," Aria said, looking ahead, knowing they were walking back to their class.

"Everything good between you and Ace?" Helena asked.

"Yes, everything is good," Aria said with a smile as she lowered her head.

"Look at you, are you still shy even after you kissed?" Helena asked, looking at Aria, who was smiling ear to ear.

"Ehm, should I be perverted with him just because we kissed? No, of course not," Aria said.

"Ehm, I'm taking lessons, hmm," Helena said with a small laugh.

"Eh," Aria looked at Helena with a confused expression, tilting her head to the side.

"Yes, lessons. Here you are, an experienced girl, or let's say Ace's girlfriend, so—" Helena started, but Aria interrupted her.

"God, you don't know how it feels. Seriously, it's nice. Yeah," Aria said, feeling shy but happy about everything that was happening.

"I hope you won't forget about studying. We have to do everything hard enough to succeed in life," Helena reminded Aria of their purpose.

Aria nodded. "I do remember, and I won't forget about it. Thank you."

Aria said with a smile, liking Helena's concern for studies, which brought them close to each other from the beginning.

"[Sure, I have to study hard. Mom, I won't let you down ever.]" Aria thought to herself.

"Eh, I forgot to tell you. After school, I'll be in the library with Ace," Aria informed Helena so she wouldn't wait for her to go back home together, as they usually did.

"Oh, library romance, huh?" Helena teased.

"Helena!" Aria snapped, running away from there, leaving Helena laughing at the spot.
