Chapter 6 - //6// Call the nurse

Before he could mutter a word, the agent grabbed Arsenal by the neck and lifted him off the floor, his dark eyes seemed to be swirling like a dark whirlpool, and the scales on his neck began to shimmer and glow.

With every passing second, his grip on Arsenal's neck became tighter and it was difficult for the young boy to breathe. However, in a desperate attempt to save himself, Arsenal felt a surge of electrifying current run through his veins.

And it felt as though he was no longer in control of his own body. Before his eyes, the agent appeared like prey, and instinctively, he knew how to pounce on one.

Using his left hand, Arsenal grabbed the Agent's hand which was on his neck, he then placed his leg on the his stomach to propelled himself backwards, and happened faster than the agent could react to it. The force was stronger than he could withstand.

Now on the floor, Arsenal lifted his head to face the man who had grabbed him, and a single punch from his fist was all it took to knock the Agent to the ground.

And as if that was not enough, he pounced on the unconscious creature and disfigured its face with numerous punches, and while he was at it, the others abandoned the girl to take care of him.

As if he had sensed them coming, or perhaps he did, Arsenal left his prey to feast on the others. His fighting techniques weren't like any other.

He fought just like an ape would, brutally and ready to kill by all means. He found himself constantly trying to bite onto the Agent's neck on the back like a cheetah would do to a gazelle, and every attempt to pin him to the ground was fruitless.

Ohana on the other hand saw this as an opportunity to escape, but her efforts were useless since her legs were already tied and she was kneeling on the floor with her hands tied as well, making it impossible to move.

Rolling away was also an option, but how far and how fast could she roll away? She believed that in no time, the Agents would be done with Arsenal and return to her.

However, that wasn't the case, one agent was dead on the floor, while the others were still struggling with Arsenal. He could barely take out his gun to shoot because Arsenal didn't give him a chance to. Since he was only this overpowered for a few minutes, Arsenal had to make the most of it.

One punch after another and the fight was over, the scene was horrific, with blood all over the floor, their faces were unrecognizable as Arsenal didn't hesitate to pound them into the dirt.

His eyes followed the trail of blood until his gaze fell upon the young lady who could barely move a muscle. He couldn't understand why his body itched to attack her, but wasn't she the one he was meant to save?

Just like a lion would slowly creep up on its prey, Arsenal began walking toward the young lady, one step at a time. He fought so hard against himself not to hurt her and wished he could call off the beast mode immediately.

Fortunately, that single thought was all it took for him to return to normal, the urges died in seconds, and when he stole a glance at the damages done behind him, his jaws dropped. I'm astonished.

-[ Time spent: 7 seven minutes and 10 seconds out of 10]-

Arsenal was too distracted to notice the notification, he could always go back to read them, but right now he was more focused on the lady who seemed very afraid of him.

"I won't hurt you!" He promised

His words fell on deaf ears as Ohana shook her head from side to side in fear, her body was covered in sweat and as he drew closer, she shuffled backwards on her knees.

"I just want to help you, okay?" He said again, and this time he closed the distance between them and began to untie the rope on her hand.

"How were they able to tie this knot?" He grunts in displeasure while struggling to loosen them.

It took over a minute to loosen the hands and two for the legs. However, after he finished, Ohana picked up the stone that she was holding onto before, and ran away.

"What the hell?" Arsenal was shocked, her behavior was unexpected especially considering the fact that he just saved her from the Agents.

"She didn't even say thank you, or anything."

[ Quest completed! ]

[ + 10 exp ]

[ + 20 Aether coins ]

[ + $ 1,000,000 ]

"One million? Damn, that's a lot, quite a shame that I've got nothing on this damn planet to spend It on? I thought there wasn't such a thing in the afterlife. Or perhaps, if this was a dream, it's no use."

[ A person cannot tell that they were dreaming until they are awake ]

[ Your first task is done, you will return to earth now. But you will be back here soon enough]

"Yeah, sure," Arsenal replied nonchalantly, after which there was a blackout.

.....

The voices of students became audible once again, and he could hear Bethany calling his name. With his eyes closed, he could also hear the security interrogating Edmond and someone yelling

"Call the nurse, I don't think he is dead"
