Anyway, I wanted to find Sera to check on their progress with the expansion, so I left the two of them there. I think Emily and Enna are going to need a minute.
When I approached Sera, the elves around her excused themselves, trying and failing to seem nonchalant.
"Hey Sera, how's the expansion going?" I asked as I walked up to her.
She seemed to flinch with every step I took toward her. Jeez, I guess I really went overboard with the restoration magic.
It probably doesn't help that I also just did it to Emily and Enna in public. I'm sure Emily and Enna don't really care, but prim and proper elves would probably be mortified to be seen like that.
"It's all going smoothly, so far." said Sera through a forced smile. "I must say, your new clothes look magnificent on you, Tina does exceptional work."
"Is something wrong, Sera?" I'm pretty sure I know exactly what's wrong, but I want to see if she will actually say it.
