I did argue that the fairies should try to get along with the others because they belong to me. So, I don't have much room to complain about the fairies objectifying them, but it is interesting. It makes me wonder how much the fairies value sentient life.
Do the fairies hate or look down on other intelligent creatures? Well whatever, it looks like me and mine will be fine. There's no better defense against potential fairy bigotry or whatever than belonging to me.
