The morning sun bathed the fields outside Capsule Corp in warm, golden light, and the peaceful hum of cicadas filled the air. Goku stretched lazily, savoring the quiet of the world he had fought so many times to protect. It was rare that he had a break from training, and even rarer that he was relaxed enough to enjoy it.
"Hey, Kakarot! Snap out of it!" Vegeta's voice cut through the calm, snapping Goku out of his reverie. Goku grinned, pushing himself to his feet and waving as Vegeta strode toward him.
"Ready to spar, Vegeta?" Goku asked, his eyes lighting up.
"Hmph. I was born ready," Vegeta replied, but there was a flicker of something unspoken in his gaze. The Saiyan prince was as proud and fiery as ever, but lately, he too had felt something brewing, something strange and unsettling. "Have you noticed it too?" Vegeta finally asked, breaking his usual tough demeanor.
"Noticed what?" Goku asked, tilting his head in confusion.
"That… stillness." Vegeta's gaze shifted, scanning the sky as if searching for something. "Something's off. Even Whis has been quiet lately. Like he knows something."
Goku's grin faded as he followed Vegeta's gaze. "I think you're right. It feels… like a storm is coming."
Their conversation was interrupted by a sudden tremor that shook the ground beneath them. Both Saiyans were on high alert, their eyes snapping to the horizon where the sky had started to darken. In a matter of moments, the bright blue had turned to a dark, ominous gray, swirling with thick clouds and crackling with red lightning.
"That's no ordinary storm," Goku murmured, feeling a chill run down his spine. There was something terrifying about this energy, something he hadn't felt since… well, since ever.
As they watched, a massive tear split the sky, like someone ripping open reality itself. Through it stepped a figure draped in darkness, his armor as black as midnight, his eyes glowing a deadly crimson. He radiated an aura so cold and powerful that the air itself seemed to freeze around him. Vegeta clenched his fists, eyes narrowed as he stared at this new arrival. He didn't need to ask who this was or why he was here. Instinctively, he knew: this being was a threat unlike any they had faced before.
"I am Alp," the figure announced, his voice resonant and low, echoing through the sky as if coming from all directions at once. "I come from a world beyond your understanding, from a dimension where power knows no bounds. And I have come for you, Saiyans." He pointed a single finger at Goku and Vegeta, and the air around them grew so thick with his energy that they could barely breathe.
"Who do you think you are, coming to our planet and making threats?" Vegeta snarled, stepping forward, his aura flaring to life in defiance. But Alp only chuckled, an unsettling sound that seemed to rattle through their bones.
"You misunderstand, prince of Saiyans," Alp said, his gaze settling on Vegeta. "I am not here to negotiate or threaten. I am here to absorb. To take your strength, your spirit, your very essence."
Goku's face grew serious as he sized up their foe. "You think you can just come here and take what you want?" he asked, stepping up beside Vegeta. His eyes held a fiery resolve, but Alp's aura was unlike anything he had felt before. "We'll see about that."
In a flash, Goku powered up, his hair flaring into the silver-white of Ultra Instinct. Vegeta followed, his hair shifting to the fierce purple of Ultra Ego. The two Saiyans stood side by side, their energies rippling together, creating a storm of light and power that pulsed against the darkness Alp exuded.
Alp smirked, watching with mild amusement as the two Saiyans unleashed their ultimate forms. "Interesting," he said. "But futile."
With a wave of his hand, Alp unleashed a torrent of energy that slammed into Goku and Vegeta, forcing them back. They dug their feet into the ground, straining against the oppressive force, but Alp only increased his power, his crimson eyes gleaming with satisfaction.
"You are strong, I'll give you that," Alp said, his voice laced with contempt. "But I have conquered realms filled with warriors beyond your imagination. I am a Dimensional Devourer, Saiyans. And you are simply another feast."
The ground trembled beneath their feet, and the two Saiyans exchanged a glance. They could see it in each other's eyes—the knowledge that even their current power wasn't enough.
"Looks like we'll need to step it up," Goku muttered, grinning despite the odds.
Vegeta scowled but gave a sharp nod. "Agreed. Let's find out what we're truly capable of."
And as Alp looked on, the two Saiyans rose to meet him once more, determined to push themselves beyond anything they had ever known.
