'F-fast' was the only thing I could think before the knight was upon us. It swung its sword at Jun aiming to cut him down, but he was raised his staff just in time to block the attack.
The impact sent Jun flying into one of the dungeon walls. I took a quick glance towards his direction and although he was still alive, he was out cold.
"Move!" Blaze shouted allowing us to jump back just in time to avoid the golem Knight's sword.
Mia couldn't jump back fast enough so she created a water bubble which the sword crashed into. The bubble was able to hold back the sword for a few moments but it gave way, due to Mia's low mana, and allowed the sword to connect.
Luckily, the water bubble absorbed most of the attack's power so the sword didn't pierce deep into he stomach but she was also sent flying backwards.
"Mia!!" Blaze shouted. I couldn't tell he was scared, by the look on his face.
Since the start of this dungeon test, he always had that air of confidence around him. But after Mia was attacked, all I could feel from him was fear which was quickly evolving into anger.
Amara was somehow keeping the knight, which looked wary of her destruction attacks, at bay.
Blaze took out a bottle from his uniform's inventory (which comes with our uniforms). The bottle had a blue glowing liquid inside.
"Alex, can you give this to Mia" his voice was unlike the look on his face, he sounded calm. "I'll handle this bastard myself "
I wanted to argue but I chose not to. The look on his face caused me not to and Mia was also currently bleeding, if nothing is done there's a chance she might die from blood loss.
"Alright but I'm backing you up as soon as I'm sure she's okay" I took the bottle from him and said.
He nodded and turned towards a mana exhausted Amara and the knight. Blaze moved with a burst of speed towards them and I moved towards Mia with the potion in hand (well, I assumed it was).
---Blaze's Pov----
I realized how dangerous the golem knight was when it moved. It's movement was a blur to me and I couldn't track it with my eyes.
Before any of us could react it had already attacked Jun, knocking him unconscious. It aimed for us next.
"Move!!" I shouted and everyone, except Mia, did. I could only watch in horror as its attack connected also sending her backwards.
I looked to where she fell and although she was breathing, he had a wound on her stomach. This made me feel terrified. Not of the knight but at the thought of losing her.
That fear quickly turned into anger. A boiling rage that I've never felt before. I could hear my ears ringing and my mind was repeating only a single thought.
'I'll kill that bastard myself '
In the midst of my anger, I remembered having a Level 5 healing potion. I placed it there for in case I got badly injured during one of my training sessions but I had forgotten about it until now.
I took it out and passed it to Alex. I couldn't give it to Mia myself because that bastard was still alive and I couldn't face Mia without destroying the thing that hurt her.
I walked towards Amara who was keeping it at bay with a destruction wall but I could see that she was out of mana.
Before ordering her to put down the wall, I turned to look at the knight. It was just standing there since it couldn't find a way to get past Amara's wall with getting hurt or destroyed in the process.
"You can understand me right" I said, looking directly at the glowing orbs under its helmet.
"I challenge you to a 1v1 battle to the death." I issued the challenge, not expecting it to accept, but to my surprise, it stepped back, turned toward me, and stretched out its hand, beckoning me to come. I could've sworn I felt it smirk.
'Oh, I'm going to enjoy turning this bastard into rubble' I thought to myself.
"You can put the wall down now Amara" I ordered her.
"A-are you sure?" She asked.
Yes, and besides, you're almost out of mana," I replied. "Rest up and recover some mana, just in case I lose against it."
She nodded and dispelled the wall made of destruction. I watched as she walked towards Alex who was currently feeding Mia the potion I gave him.
My anger flared as I looked back at Mia. I was confident the healing potion would work, but this bastard had dared to hurt her. That alone was reason enough to seal its fate.
I walked towards the knight who was carefully looking at me and stopped opposite it.
Although I was angry, that didn't mean I couldn't think clearly. The golem knight was strong, strong enough for me to be cautious or else I would be killed by it.
It's strength coupled with its speed, I knew I was in for a challenge but that didn't matter. All that mattered was, it hurt Mia and I'll turn it to dust for that.
After a few more seconds of stare down, I made the first move. I rushed towards it leaving a trail of flames behind me. I coated my fists with flames and sent a punch towards it.
The golem easily blocked my attack with its sword but I wasn't done yet. I used my other fist to attack its head but it caught it.
I tried to pull back but couldn't and that's when the knight made its first move. It released my hand and quickly sent a knee.
The impact launched me back but I stood, holding my stomach due to the pain I was feeling.
This bastard is stronger than I thought, I'll need to give this my all of I don't want to lose.
