I looked back at the pillars and I felt a strange pull to the black one. I turned back to the others who seemed to be feeling the same pull.
I moved towards the pillar I felt the pull from and touched the box that was on it.
The runes on the box glowed as soon as I touched it and the box opened with a click.
Curious, I took a peek and inside lay a black goo like object that was subtly moving.
(Venom?)
{Sorry bud, wrong universe}
Looking at the others I confirmed that they didn't hear Gaia's voice.
(How so?) I asked still observing the goo like creature.
(Let me guess, you can't tell me about what's coming?) I replied.
I nodded my head and finally stretched my hand towards the goo. Hearing Gaia's warning, I could do one of two things.
I could start panicking at the approaching unknown threat or be prepared enough to take on whatever was coming and my decision was leaning towards the latter.
The creature in the box hesitated for a second before wrapping around my hand that was touching it.
The system alert popped up as soon as I felt a burn where it had wrapped.
[Congratulations, you've obtained (unnamed) the glutton sword]
(Sword? This looked nothing like a sword)

Current user: Alex

Looking at the description, I couldn't help but be impressed. A sword that could absorb stat points and skill? That's going to be a huge advantage for me.
[Do you wish to give the sword a name?]
'A name?' I thought to myself. I wasn't really good at naming things but let's see.
'How about Beel?' I said the first name that popped up in my head 'since you were created from the flesh of Beelzebub'.
[(Unnamed) the glutton sword is now known as (Beel) the glutton sword].
Somehow, I could feel how happy Beel was, hearing its name.
I observed the mark that Beel made on my right hand. It looked like a rune of some sorts and currently in it was Beel. Maybe it also acts as a storage space for it, pretty useful.
I looked to see what rewards the others got. Jun and Blaze were holding scrolls which I assumed had skills on them?, Mia was holding a Trident (is that what I think it is??) and finally Amara held a purple orb.
I approached them to ask what were their rewards but Jun beat me to it.
"What was your reward?" He asked sounding excited. I guess whatever he got must've been really good.
"I got a sword" I answered, making Beel come out of the mark and take its sword form "what about you?"
"I got a skill" he answered and showed me the scroll, it was written in Chinese characters.
"What skill?" I asked since I couldn't read the scroll.
"It's the 72 Transformations" he replied in a higher pitch " it allows me to assume 72 different forms"
That was really and I could feel Beel's hunger for the scroll, but before anything else could happen I sent it back into the mark.
I then turned to Blaze whose scroll was disappearing. He must have learnt the skill already.
"I got a skill called Eternal Embers" he replied before I could ask "It lets me create a flame that burns as long as I have mana".
"It also lets me do this" he burnt himself with his flame and then created another flame (this one looked blue instead of the normal orange-ish color) which he lapped on the burn.
When he extinguished the flame, the burn mark was gone and his skin looked good as new.
"I can give my flames healing properties now" he said with a light smile.
"I got the Trident of Atlantis, not the one that Poseidon uses but one made from the same material " Mia spoke next " it allows me to summon storms and water from anywhere. It also grants me a limited control over lightning"
"This orb is supposed to grant me absolute control over destruction" Amara said, showing us the orb "after absorbing it, I should be able to use significantly less mana on my attacks and also be able to control who and what my attacks affects or not".
I guess everyone got something related to their blessings.... Speaking of which, how did Gaia get all these.
Suddenly, one of the walls collapsed revealing the forest outside.
We started walking towards the exit before Jun suddenly asked.
"How does it feel to die?" He asked me, reminding the others I had died earlier.
(Sigh, I guess I owe them an explanation)..
