Things escalated and there were even more people watching the drama that unfolded inside the real estate office. Now that the manager was here, they were eager to see who was lying among them. Alisa knew that some events such as these frequently happen in Eidelweiss according to the things she had observed before when she was still living as an assassin. That was just how things worked between the rich. She had money now, but it wasn't like she was rich. She didn't really understand how a mere black card could cause so much trouble.
The manager was still kept in the dark as he rushed to the lobby immediately the moment he heard that there was a commotion happening and it involved a person who had a black card, therefore, missing one of the staff's explanation of the current situation.
Michael Guzman, the manager of the Golden Pavilion Realty, shift his eyes back and forth between Alisa and Anastacia, who had accused her of stealing a black card from someone. He felt a headache coming, but still inquired politely about the situation, afraid that he'd offend Alisa if it turned out that she was really the owner of the card. "What seems to be the problem here?"
Mr. Guzman, this woman claims to be the owner of the black card and used it to pay for one of the villas in Golden Pavilion. I suspect she stole it from someone." Anastacia explained and recounted the events that happened with a confident tone. She was so sure that Alisa had stolen it given with the way she was dressed in poor clothing.
The latter could only sigh and shook her head disappointingly. She had seen so many dumb people, but she hadn't seen one as dumb as Anastacia. She was hopeless. Her arrogant nature that made her think she was better than everyone else was beyond redemption. Once a person was rotten to the core, there was no hope for a positive change even if the world turned upside-down.
Michael turned into a heavy frown. "What makes you say so that she stole it?"
"I mean, look at her clothes! She can't even buy designer clothes and dress up properly. Instead, she looks like someone who just wants to come here and pretend to buy things. How can a person like her own something precious as a VIP black card?"
Michael thought her explanation made sense. She looked at Aliza and sized her up. She was indeed wearing cheap and plain clothes. There wasn't a single sign of wealth in her. Did this girl really steal the black card? However, he still had doubts in his heart. Even though he himself didn't own one as he wasn't qualified to avail such a card, he heard about it from the upper class families that the black card was just like any normal card that had a pin. There was no way she had learned the pin from the owner if she really stole it. Aside from that, the card itself should be registered under the owner's name should he try to verify it in one of their machines— or he could just call the bank directly and ask about it.
Upon having decided of what to do, he asked the staff to take the black card and have its information verified.
At the same time, Klaus Parker approached Alisa with a grin on his face and softly said, "Just wait until the manager verifies it and you'll soon end up in jail. Of course, you can also spend a night with me and I'll talk to the manager to let you off. How about that? It's not a bad deal, right?"
As he was saying those things, his hand was slowly reaching out towards Alisa's arms secretly, away from his wife's line of sight, to try and feel how smooth her beautiful skin was. Alisa's gaze hardened and turned murderous while giving Klaus a death glare which made his hand froze on the spot.
"Get lost unless you want to die." Her voice was so cold that it gave a chill to his heart.
He thought there was something wrong with this woman. If looks could kill, he would have been chopped to pieces already by how sharp her gaze was penetrating his soul. For a short moment, he nearly forgot how to breath, but once his composure returned, he angrily shouted at her.
"Bitch! How dare you threaten me like that? You are looking for a beating!"
His hand balled into a fist. He then threw it towards Alisa, who was just calmly standing there but radiating a frosty aura. Before it could even reach her, she reacted too quickly that their eyes couldn't even see what she did. The man could only stare at his arm that was now bent towards a weird angle without understanding what happened. Soon enough, the pain coursed from his now broken arm towards his whole body, sending him squirming and letting out an ear-splitting scream. The onlookers were horrified and backed away in fears of getting caught in Alisa's frightening strength.
"Ahh! It hurts! You'll pay for breaking my arm. I'm going to send you to hell now!" He shouted with madness in his eyes and fetched for his phone in his pocket with his remaining functioning hand. He dialed a number and the call went through. "Come here and drag this bitch away. Make sure to torture her!"
Not more than a minute later, a group of thugs carrying metal bats and machetes entered the lobby and surrounded Alisa. She scoffed in disdain while pointing at them with her index finger one by one and started counting. "1, 2, 3... 10 thugs. You're really despicable enough to call for gangsters just to deal with a single woman. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?"
"I don't fucking care! I won't stop until I beat you to death and let my subordinates play with you until you break." Klaus said let out a crazy laugh.
Michael, who had just finished verifying the card's details and found that Alisa was indeed the real owner, heard the commotion again. He turned to look towards the lobby and his face paled at the sight of his precious customer being surrounded by ruffians. He ran as fast as he could towards them and shouted. "Stop! What do you think you're doing?! How dare you offend this young lady? She's the real owner of the card and yet you dare accuse her of theft! Get out of this place!"
"Stay out of this or I'll have you beaten up too." Klaus glared at him. He was in so much agony as he held his broken arm tightly to ease the pain.
Anastacia was like a frightened kitten the moment she heard Michael stated that the card was real. She had offended a big shot. However, it didn't matter right now since Klaus was also one and she would soon be punished. She sighed in relief and sneered in her heart, thinking about the misfortune that was about to happen to Alisa.
Michael wanted to help but he was too terrified to deal with the gangsters. He only had two guards in the office but they were obviously not enough to deal with ten armed thugs. If something happened to Alisa, he would not only lose his job, but as well as his life if the boss knew that he had neglected his customers. Then he thought of an idea. He approached Alisa and softly whispered to her just enough to reach her ears. "Miss Hayworth, please escape while I buy you some time. I'll keep them busy."
Alisa was amused. She could clearly see his legs shaking from fear and he was about to collapse, yet he still stood to defend her.
'How commendable.', she thought and revealed a faint smile.
"Please stay back, Mr. Guzman. I'll be fine. They won't be able to touch me." She strutted forward, neither looking too arrogant nor humble. Michael became even more frantic and wanted to stop her but she insisted. There was nothing he could do but watch with a complicated expression.
"Heh! I'm impressed by your foolishness. But even if you are some rich young lady from a powerful family, you're all alone here without a single bodyguard. As long as I silence you and the witnesses here, no one would ever know about it. No one dares to cross Klaus Parker. Now, die!" The leader of the thugs mocked while licking the blade of his machete.
"Rich young lady?" She tilted her head in confusion. Since when had she become a rich young lady? All she had was fifty million dollars which came from the spoils of war. She didn't even a family waiting for her. "Is there something wrong with your brains? I'm just an average young lady in cheap clothing like what that woman said."
She pointed to Anastacia, who cowered in fear upon getting noticed by her. Still, the leader paid no attention to her words and only thought about tormenting her.
The others also grinned evilly with lustful eyes as they stared at Alisa's striking figure. They couldn't wait to get a taste on her. Without wasting more time, they rushed towards her and one of them aimed to bash her head with the metal bat.
"Oh, no! Dodge it, Miss Hayworth!" Chloe shouted. She had a fright after seeing them gang up on her. She was genuinely worried at her client, who was the only person who had been nice to her all this time ever since she started working here.
They looked in despair as the bat quickly fall down to Alisa's head, but she calmly strode to the side with minimal movements, making the metal bat miss her by an inch. The others followed suit and waved their machetes and other weapons towards her. They were only aiming for the non-vital spots and planned to severe her tendons to prevent her from moving so they could play with her body to their heart's content soon. To their dismay, she was smoothly evading all their attacks like she was a slippery smile. Her footwork was quick and agile, twisting and leaping with every step she took as if she was performing a graceful dance. The onlookers were drawn and mesmerized by the unbelievable scene before them.
"Am I watching things, right? Miss Hayworth is like those people in action movies! How is it possible?" Chloe gasped in shock. Her admiration for Alisa had grown deeper quickly.
As for the thugs, they stopped attacking and panted heavily to catch their breaths. They couldn't believe it. A single woman was toying with them like they were little children. How unacceptable! The leader clenched his teeth as he stared at her with resentment. "Monster!"
"Are you done? Now, it's my turn." She coldly said. In an instant, her body had become blurry as she moved in a quick speed and delivered a single punch to each of them. They fell down to the ground and curled like pitiful shrimps, coughing up blood repeatedly. They couldn't get up anymore. Alisa could kill them easily like squishing an ant, but Eidelweiss was a world of laws. She also felt like they weren't worth killing at all.
However, as for the frightened Klaus, she blinked in front of him and delivered a powerful slap that sent his tooth flying. She delivered another one and repeated it until his face was swollen to the point he was barely recognizable anymore. "Consider it a light punishment for being so creepy and disgusting. The next time I see you harassing females, I'll make sure you'll never touch another woman again."
Her intimidating aura scared him to death and soon enough, Klaus lost consciousness. His wife, who had been as timid as a mouse since earlier after feeling Alisa's murderous gaze, didn't bother helping her husband and could only avoid Alisa's threatening eyes.
Since the problem was already solve and she had nothing else to do in the Golden Pavilion Realty anymore, she took back the black card from Michael and bid goodbye politely. "I'll be going now. Goodbye, Mr. Guzman."
She then turned towards Chloe and handed a small piece of paper with a smile before leaving the place. The latter turned to look at the small paper she received and read what was written.
'Thank you for your wonderful services. If you need anything, come and find me.'
She felt elated. Alisa had given her permission to come to her if she encountered troubles. Her first friend in the real world happened to be her first client. She bowed down silently with respect towards the door entrance even though Alisa had long left the place.
