{You have successfully killed a Savage rank monster, Thrall.
Congratulations! You have been rewarded with 5 Luck points.
5 Luck points are being multiplied ten times…
Congratulations! 50 Luck points have been credited to your status.}
Kaiju was beyond elated to receive the rewards, even more so by the fact he finally managed to murder a Thrall without relying on the skill, Emotionless.
He glanced at the Bloodthorn, swung it fiercely, causing the blood to spray in a crescent shape, as he tied the hilt on the rope around his waist. Suddenly, he caught his hand shivering from mixed emotions.
Mostly, it was from the terror he felt from the grotesque towering monster, but now… it was still there, but the excitement seemed to be more overwhelming than the fear.
He finally got rid of the fear, killed the Thrall without relying on the Emotionless skill, activating only two Swift Dash and receiving 50 Luck points.
"I sure benefit a lot on this day. Well, it sure is a hellish adapting week." Kaiju sighed and then smiled.
Indeed, adapting in a week on the hellish trial was so difficult. Just the first minute he appeared on the trial, he already almost killed himself, what was more on the first week? He encountered a savage rank beast in a pack, escaping from their attention through Shadow Step, almost tangling himself from an inconspicuous vines…
He did not want to think more about it.
Swoosh!
He was snapped awake by the monkey landing on his shoulder.
The monkey was savage by its nature, no doubt – its protruding fangs and three bloodshot eyes with its fierce expression already conveyed it. Its fur was raven-black with a tinge of scarlet color every now and then. Its claws were sharp, though not as massive as the thralls obviously, Kaiju perceived it could scratch through its Thralls face, at least.
He smiled lightly, briefly giving him a glance while rubbing his fingers on its cheeks. The monkey enjoyed it, reciprocating its master's response.
When it squinted its eyes and saw the severed head of the Thrall, it turned towards its master and uttered a gecker, attempting to communicate with him.
"You locate another edible fruit? One that can boost my attribute points? What kind? Strength? Oh, strength?" Kaiju's eyes lit up.
However, his countenance turned solemn and asked the monkey.
"Will it be dangerous?"
The monkey was taken aback, lowered and shook his head.
"You don't know?" Kaiju was disappointed.
He smiled.
"Don't worry, we will find out by ourselves, then. You don't have to be so depressed."
Kaiju was always grateful for the monkey's capabilities. When it swore loyalty to him and saw its stats, he shivered in excitement at its two skills. Furthermore, he could actually copy one, which really did not put him in a dilemma since a single skill caught his attention.
{Little Gorilla
Description: A savage rank beast on the brink of death but was saved by its Master's skill, Basic First Aid. It was abandoned by its kin, thinking it was already dead. Hence, it swore loyalty to its Master, desiring to become its scout with its climbing and forage finder skills.
Loyalty: 90%
Current Skill: Climbing Mastery, Forage Finder
Climbing Mastery: The monkey is highly adept at climbing trees, walls, or any surface, allowing it to escape danger or reach high places for scouting or evasion purposes. It is a common rank mastery possessed by a monkey race. It can be elevated. There was a myth that a monkey was climbing even through the clouds.
Forage Finder: the monkey can locate edible fruits, plants, and small animals in its surroundings, helping its master to find food sources easily.}
Little Gorilla possessed a Climbing Mastery, which was really practical in an environment filled with gargantuan trees and branches that appeared like clouds in the sky. He did not hesitate anymore to copy it, as the other skill, Forage Finder, was something he already possessed.
Of course, Forage Finder was a bit better when it comes to locating than Edible Plant Identification Skill, but in other aspects, the latter surpassed the former.
Nevertheless, Kaiju was filled with satisfaction and now not regretting rescuing the Little Gorilla when it was on its death door.
Of course, he was skeptical at first whether the Little Gorilla could be any useful to him as the monkey was also known for its playful nature, causing him to think it would betray him later on.
However, who would have thought the loyalty of the pet surpassed even humans?
Nevertheless, he now possessed a Climbing Mastery skill, which helped him tread through the branches of trees with the risk of falling being minimal. For him to assure his safety, he must increase the grade of the skill.
Another way, aside from obtaining rewards from the Gacha System, to upgrade the grade of his skill was to increase his intelligent attribute while accumulating experience to that certain skill. From what his teacher taught him, he needed twenty intelligent points and lots of experience to upgrade a Common grade skill to Rare grade.
It would still need a lot of time to upgrade the Climbing Mastery skill, so he put it aside at the moment while enjoying the skill it could provide him. So, in the process of grinding experience, he did not need to pressure himself to attain a goal.
Hiss!
Snow popped out on his old white t-shirt he still wore. It was filled with his own blood, green blood of the grime monster, and some sort. Since he did not know how to create a cloth yet, for he did not possess a skill, he did not want to appear naked.
Even if he rather had leaves, covering his dragon while leaving his upper torso bare-naked… where would Snow be able to hide, then?
Aside from his private part?
If it was not for Snow, he would have long preferred appearing like Tarzan at the moment.
"What is it?" Kaiju smiled at Snow, who was pouting in displeasure.
He knew Snow was being jealous once again every time he rubbed Little Gorilla or even just put a slight attention on it. Snow seemed to always want his attention.
Kaiju did not mind Snow's obsessive nature – at least, it reminded him that somehow, someone desired his attention.
Being desired meant being alive.
"Alright. Since we can't get anything from the Thrall. We should locate the fruit now, Little Gorilla." His eyes gleamed.
