*A tale of his forbidden obsession.*
Far away, in an unknown place. A desert that had lost its beauty. Only filled with smoke, and blood of the dead bodies on the ground, under the breath of the gloomy sky. The blood of the dead bodies flowed like a river. And amidst it all, was a man who stood powerfully tall, the strongest of all. The blood of his enemies coated his body and dripped from his sword and claws. He was the last primordial werewolf standing. His chest rising from his sharp breathing as the wind blew strongly against his face. Silently, he glared at the shining light in front of him.
The light belonged to a woman with a divine aura surrounding her ethereal beauty, her body radiating off the moonlight itself. Her eyes had no pupils, and were the same colour of the mark on her forehead, white. The crescent crown on her head decorated her long silver hair as it flowed with the rhythms of the wind. She was beyond beautiful. Her golden gown shone like a bright light amidst it all.
The goddess stood in front of the man who had just ended the deadly war, her light being the only pure element around.
She looked at him with an indifferent face as she spoke. Her voice was like that of a calm wave of the ocean, echoing in his head.
"Torak. You have proven yourself to be nothing more than a raging beast, a beast hungry for power and revenge."
"Your hunger for power has blinded you and your heart has turned into stone. You have killed. The blood of the innocent on your head. Thus, you shall be punished."
The goddess lifted her hand and stretched it forth.
"Just as you have claimed victory in this blood battle. Truly, you shall be crowned king, and your people shall serve you-" Torak smirked, feeling conceited. He really didn't care about the punishment he was about to receive, all he cared about was getting the throne. He knew the goddess would have no choice but to give him the throne. He had won.
"-But, love will be far from their eyes and you, will never know what it's like to love," she said.
"You shall be deprived of an heir and the entire monarchy will be buried along with you."
Torak froze, his eyes widening upon hearing her words. But then, his thick brows slowly furrowed as he glared at her, anger and hatred glistening in his golden iris as his teeth softly clenched.
All of a sudden, his lip pulled wide and he began laughing.
His laughter sounded psychotic, he was like a mad man who had his mind surrounded by darkness and rage. His sharp canines revealed themselves through his evil grin.
He stopped laughing and just smiled at her, a smile that looked gentle, yet seemed nothing genuine, not even able to hide the emptiness in his eyes. He was a man who had lost the soul and light in him, like an empty vessel. Yet the beast in him was satisfied.
His head tilted lazily, standing root on the same spot like a statue whilst supporting himself with his sword. He took in a sharp breath, before speaking, daring the goddess.
"If you want to punish me so badly, why not kill me? Make all my thirst and desires to claim the throne go to waste. And let me burn in hell along with my sins? Hmm?"
But the moon goddess was unfazed by his mocking smile and dangerous gaze. She remained graceful and composed, causing his lips to pull into a mirth.
He was satisfied just by watching her, unaffected by his sinful aura.
"I won't take your life yet Torak" she said, causing his grin to stretch further as he shook his head and clicked his tongue, slightly biting his lips. It seemed as if he was confident that she wouldn't kill him.
"For you have a destiny in front of you to fulfill and you must fulfill the destiny before you die."
His smile slowly died upon hearing her words.
"Until then, Torak. You shall live. And no one, will take the throne away from you. Long lives the king…." The moon goddess made a slight bow, before twirling and disappearing along with her light, leaving him alone in the bloody desert, with a curse.
