"Leveling up twice in a row?...is this normal?...as far as I know, in system-based comics, leveling up isn't this easy...some even can't level up if certain conditions aren't met..." Furan thought to himself, surprised at how quickly it happened.

"Calm down, Host. I leveled up because the system calculated that your opponent was overwhelmingly stronger than you."

"Huh..did someone just speak?" Furan asked, startled.

"Yes, Host, it's me..."

Furan looked at the screen that had suddenly appeared in front of him, showing a yellow moon pixel image. Interestingly, above this emoji, three arrows circled each other, forming a halo like that of an angel.

"System...is that you?" Furan asked.

"Yes, Host, it's me, the system..."

"What do the plus signs and zeros next to my three statuses mean??" Furan asked, confused by their sudden appearance.

"They're still zero, Host. Since you have the Eternal Rebirth talent but haven't experienced rebirth yet, they're marked as (+0)."

"But why didn't you respond to me before?" Furan asked, curious.

"Before, I didn't have awareness, Host. I only gained consciousness when the system leveled up to 3. When I was at level 3, I had limited information and couldn't speak much."

"So now, at level 5, you can speak more freely?" Furan asked.

"Correct, Host. Now I can also provide more information you might need."

"That's good then. How long have I been in here?" Furan asked.

"Host, you've been here for 1 month and 14 days."

"Huh?! How could I have been here this long...what about Anori?!" Furan started to panic, worried about leaving Anori alone, especially since he was alive and just trapped in this white room.

"Please relax, Host. Time here moves ten times faster. Only 4 days have passed outside. You'll rise again soon, so be cautious."

Furan calmed down, realizing it had only been four days in the real world. But he was still very worried about Anori's situation. Slowly, Furan opened his eyes, back in the white room. A dark figure began to form and solidify.

"System, if I die, do I gain additional status points?" Furan asked.

"Yes, Host. Each time you experience death, you'll gain zero to ten (0-10) status points."

"So it's a random number...what if I kill myself? Does that count?" Furan asked.

"If someone else kills you, you'll experience rebirth. But if you commit suicide, you'll die permanently, as the system will detect it as your own choice."

"Oh, I see…what a pity…if only suicide counted," Furan muttered in disappointment.

"Host...psst...pssst...Host...psssst!"

Ting!

The system tried to signal Furan, and suddenly a message notification appeared. Furan opened it, reading: "Read this message quietly, don't say it out loud."

"Host, we're trapped in an item called Life And Death, so we aren't detected by the outside world. I've managed to hack a bit of it. While we're in here, you can kill yourself, but don't do it too close to the creature so it doesn't notice. Please jump to the right once you've read this." Furan read the message silently, then quickly deleted it.

He jumped to the right, and the system quickly warned him of approaching danger. Furan glimpsed an image of a sword about to pierce his head and quickly ran backward.

"Whoosh!"

A sword stabbed through Furan's head, and he died instantly. His brain detected the fatal wound, deciding that death was necessary. After 10 seconds, Furan regained consciousness.

"Huhh...huh...hah...huhh...I thought it would feel like the first time I died...but it still feels exhausting," Furan panted, feeling as if he were being crushed between two exploding dimensions.

"Take deep breaths, Host. You'll get used to it."

Calculating additional points!!! Please wait.

A shadow appeared, and Furan analyzed it with his God's Eye skill. He was shocked by the creature's status, seeing that it was at peak S level and nearing S+. Furan realized that if he kept dying, the creature would eventually level up to S+.

"What should I do? If it keeps leveling up by killing me, it'll reach S+ soon." Furan asked the system anxiously.

"Host, do as the message instructed so the monster doesn't gain exp."

"Alright, I'll do that to keep this monster from getting stronger," Furan said hurriedly.

Furan committed suicide, dying before the creature could get exp from killing him. As soon as he revived, he repeated this method, killing himself each time the creature formed.

Two months passed quickly since Furan entered Life And Death.

"Host, it's been two months, and I'm almost ready to distribute all the rewards."

"That's good, System. Which death is this? I lost count," Furan asked, sounding very tired.

"This is your 81st death, Host. The rewards will be distributed in a few minutes."

Furan's bangs touched his nose, his mustache and beard had grown about 4 cm long, and his clothes were almost in tatters, with only his pants remaining intact. Although only six days had passed outside, the fatigue he felt grew heavier due to the accelerated time inside.

Ting! Ting! Ting! Ting!

Ting! Ting! Ting! Ting!

The notifications came in rapid succession, with scores ranging from seven to ten points, likely influenced by his high luck. Furan's total points reached the peak of S level.
