Chapter 12 - Furan Successfully Escapes From Life And Death

"Make agility 150, and divide the remaining points equally between strength and endurance," said Furan, thinking that if he followed the same status as that creature, this would never end, and the results would be balanced.

Status (683 rebirth points not yet contributed)

Strength: 5 (F) (+279)

Endurance: 15 (F) (+269)

Agility: 5 (F) (+145)

"Wow, my body feels so light. I feel like I can do anything now," said Furan, delighted to feel the massive change in his body.

The dark creature reformed its body and attacked again. But this time, Furan blocked its attack and tried to grab its neck. Once he held the creature's neck, he hit it with all the strength he could muster. Cracks started to appear on the creature's head, but Furan didn't stop and kept punching it as he realized it could be physically damaged.

Thud... thud... thud...

Crack

Thud... thud

Craaaack...

The cracks on the creature's body began to spread until its entire form shattered. The white ceiling of the room began to crack and fall, and the walls started to fracture.

>Congratulations, Host leveled up from Rank F to Rank B (Level 19)

>Congratulations, Host received Destiny Points: Heaven and Earth +1000

A bright, golden light began to shine intensely, until all that could be seen was the golden glow. The previously white room turned to dust and disappeared with the light.

Furan slowly became aware as the light faded and opened his eyes to see a golden handgun appear in front of him. When he grabbed it, the weapon vanished, and his vision began to blur.

Boom...

Soge was dozing in his room when his hand suddenly felt hot. He awoke with a start as the Life and Death ring he wore exploded, leaving his right hand severely injured. He grabbed a healing potion, one of his father's collection, from the cabinet behind him. Shocked, he realized that Furan, the boy he had trapped within the ring, was now standing before him.

Seeing Furan in a disheveled state, radiating an intimidating aura, and with exhausted eyes, Soge froze, speechless. Finally, after summoning his courage, he shouted loudly.

"Guards!... Guards!" Soge shouted loudly, calling for the guards.

"Hey, how is it possible that you're still alive?..." Soge asked in utter confusion, applying the potion to his injured hand.

"Be quiet. Where is Anori? Answer honestly before I tear your mouth apart," Furan said, leaning down close to Soge's face, who was sitting close to the ground after the explosion.

"Answer honestly. I'm giving you one chance," Furan threatened Soge.

Soge trembled with intense fear, feeling Furan's overwhelming power. Finally, he tried to think of something but couldn't focus due to his immense fear. Then a knock and a voice came from behind the door.

"Master, why did you call us? May we enter?" asked a chief guard.

"Answer him and tell them to leave if you don't want me to kill you!" Furan grabbed Soge's neck.

"Never mind… go away… don't enter my room at all… don't let anyone in!" Soge shouted in response to the voice outside.

"Good. Now, my question remains unanswered… where is Anori? Hurry and tell me!" Furan demanded.

"She's in the underground room of our house. There's a shortcut from here; you just need to pull the red book on that shelf," Soge said, pointing to a bookshelf filled with books.

"If anything happens to Anori… I will kill every one of you!" Furan walked toward the shelf, pulled the red book, which looked different from the others.

Creaaak... screeek... graaargh

A sound echoed as the door and wall shifted, creating a passageway leading underground. Without hesitation, Furan proceeded down the dark tunnel. Though it was dim, a torch was visible in front of an iron door at the end of the passage. The tunnel stretched about 100 meters downward. Whatever happened in this underground place would surely be inaudible, even if someone screamed at the top of their lungs.

Furan reached the door and tried to push it, but it wouldn't budge, so he struck it forcefully. Not only did it open, but it shattered to pieces.

From afar, Furan saw Dawin raising his sword high, about to bring it down on Anori, who was tied to a chair.

Swish

Furan dashed forward at full speed. In just two seconds, he was in front of the prison, and in his haste, he charged through the metal bars, making a loud noise that startled Dawin and Sena.

BAM!

Furan struck Dawin squarely in the face, launching him into the wall, where his head was embedded. Dawin had attempted to block with his sword, but it shattered on impact, and pieces of the sword lodged into his face.

"Dawin, are you alive? Hey, Dawin," Sena, seeing Dawin stuck in the wall, was frozen in fear and could only ask about Dawin's condition, who lay motionless.

Moments later, blood began trickling down from the wall. Furan quickly embraced Anori and asked if she was alright.

"Anori, are you okay?... Hey, Anori, why aren't you saying anything?" Furan asked, holding her close.

"Hic… hic… hic..."

Slowly, Anori began to sob, and gradually her crying grew louder.

"Huuaaah… I thought I'd never see you again, brother. Why did you leave for so long? Anori missed you," Anori sobbed as she returned Furan's embrace, crying her heart out.

"Calm down, Anori. This time, I will protect you because your brother is strong enough," Furan tried to comfort her.

"You have to promise you won't leave Anori again… promise me, brother," Anori said.

"Yes, I promise, I'll always stay with you and never leave you again like this," Furan replied.

"Okay… promise… hic… hic…" Anori hugged Furan tightly, overwhelmed with relief.

"Anori, don't look back… close your eyes and ears for a bit…" Furan suggested, and Anori did as he said without questioning.

Furan walked toward Sena, who was frozen and unable to move out of fear. Sena's fear intensified as Furan approached him, like prey facing a ruthless hunter. Furan spoke while radiating a strong sense of intimidation.

"Hey, don't just stand there… how do I remove this necklace?" Furan asked.
