Kate did not decline and sat directly beside Ivy.
Seeing Kate take a seat, the three roommates breathed a sigh of relief; at least she wasn't angry about earlier.
But once seated together, no one initiated a conversation.
After such an ordeal, none of the three who had been caught misbehaving dared to speak first.
In the end, it was Kate who broke the silence. "Aren't you going to introduce me to your classmates?"
"Oh!" Prompted by Kate, Ivy realized her oversight and introduced them one by one: "This is Emily Hart."
"This is Marina Leaf."
"And this is Brooke Rivers."
"They're all my classmates."
That was it.
"Hello," Kate greeted the three.
"Hello, Senior!" they chimed in unison.
It felt like they were welcoming a dignitary.
Ivy looked around; thankfully, the café was noisy, and no one was paying attention to them. How could they all be so stunning yet lack any semblance of decorum!
