Chapter 11 - 11 The Real Training Begins.

"To tell you the truth no one has ever seen my real power yet in our academy." Shawn said, sitting on a huge boulder with Ethan by his side. They were on holidays and Shawn had decided to train with Ethan during the period before the holidays were over. Not wanting to create any trouble whiles they were in town, Shawn had travelled with Ethan to the outskirts of the city.

The outskirts of Fenzash was a place where nature was at peace without any technology stuffs to disturb. The cool wind breezed gently across the land accompanied by the gentle sunshine which made the place look brighter than the day in cities as the light rays were refracted through the morning dew on the surface of the surrounding trees. "Yoo! What a nice view? It's been a long time since I went on such a holiday break." Shawn said with a wide smile on his face. "Yes." Ethan said. "Why don't we take advantage of this cold wind to train. It'll reduce our loss of water in the system." Shawn said and jumped down the boulder. "Ok." Ethan said and also got off the boulder.

"First, manifest your new lexicon." Shawn instructed. Ethan heeded and closed his eyes for a brief moment and then a golden lexicon manifested, suspending in the air in front of him. It had the drawing of the lightning dragon etched into the cover with lightning running around the whole lexicon as if wanting to be freed from a spell that had binded it to the lexicon. The lightning around the lexicon looked like a normal lightning but when the fallen leaves from the trees came into contact with it, the fallen leaves incinerated instantly.

"That is an outstanding lexicon. Now open it and draw out your lightning sword." Shawn said and Ethan did just as told. Upon opening his lexicon, it seemed as if the lightning was pouring was pouring out of the lexicon like water magically. "This is truly his lexicon." Shawn thought not mentioning the person he meant but Ethan took it as Shawn was referring to him. The lexicon was opened like it was the first page of a book with the some sort of enumeration that looked different from the normal 1,2,3 he saw in Melwen's lexicon. The symbol ''⍉'' was the enumeration which made Ethan more confused as he didn't take note of it the first day he opened this new lexicon. "Why are you confused? Can't you just pull out the visible hilt of the lightning sword?" Shawn asked and walked to Ethan's side.

"Oh that. That symbol represents one." Shawn said pointing at the "⍉" symbol. "You mean that means one?" Ethan asked curiously. "Yes, I also use the same enumeration. It is an ancient enumeration system. Don't worry I'll tell you about it later. Now pull out your sword." Shawn instructed. "Ok." Ethan responded and ignored the symbol pulling out a sheathed lightning sword. "It's still sheathed." Ethan said in disappointment. "Yes, he hasn't acknowledged you to give you his full power yet." Shawn remarked. "Who do you mean?" Ethan asked. "Oh forget about that. I was just saying you haven't reached the stage to be able to unsheathe it yet. Fortunately for you, even in that sheathed form it is still able to slash through object like the Eclipsing Fang." Shawn said incisively. "Yes, it seemed almost like the Eclipsing Fang the first time I held it." Ethan replied.

The sheath of the lightning sword was an ever-shifting construct of vibrant, electric currents. It radiated a bluish-white glow, with streaked of silver and violet crackling along its surface like miniature lightning storms. Tiny arcs of energy leaped and twisted, forming intricate, weaving patterns that constantly reformed and dissolved, never holding a single shape for more than a fleeting moment.

The edges of the sheath seemed to blur, as if it teetered on the boundary between existence and nothingness, humming softly with a high-pitched resonance that you can feel in your bones. Each touch sent a faint tingle through Ethan's fingers, a reminder of the immense power bound within. Despite its volatile appearance, the sheath held the blade perfectly, its energy molding seamlessly around the sword as if magnetized.

"Now, just like I said you haven't fought me for real before but as of today I'll have to start training you with all the strength I have though increasing my power gradually. "Now come at me with you have." Shawn said and stood patiently awaiting Ethan as he also drew out a black dagger out of nowhere. The dagger although with normal appearance like a rugged steel, it seemed to have the cleaving power to slash through steel like paper.

"Ok, here I come." Ethan said and dashed straight towards Ethan, his acceleration increasing at higher pace than his normal. "Woo, if I calculate well your speed should be approximately Mach 1 by now. The lightning essence did do some real good upgrades to your body. "Ugh! Here it comes." Ethan said as he leaped forward with a downward slash at high speed but Shawn simply parried Ethan's sheathed sword with a simple upward slash which sent Ethan's sword flying out of his hands into a tree. "Your speed and strength have both increased but your strength is still lacking." Shawn said precisely whiles looking down at Ethan who sat on the ground with his hands shaking from the shock of Shawn's parry. "I think you need some weightlifting and gripping workouts to improve your hitting strength." Shawn said keenly.

*Beep. Beep. Beep*

Shawn looked on the smart watch he was wearing and immediately his facial expression changed into that of a really serious person. "What is it?" Ethan asked immediately he saw the look on Shawn's face. "So it has started. Ethan do you remember what I told you before we came for this training?" Shawn asked with a serious look." Yes." Ethan replied.

* A day before the holidays.*

"Ethan what will you do if you aren't able to save your friends and family from Grimlore or beast siege?" Shawn asked with a keen look on his face. "Uh... Well I don't understand Grimlore siege but I can tell it'll be something bad. What are Grimlore?" Ethan noted. "Grimlores are some sort of beast that spawn when a forbidden lexicon is used but there sometimes where the Grimlores can spawn on their own accompanied by other beasts which are not of their type. Every three hundred years the Grimlores spawn by themselves and attack any human around them. Their main purpose of spawning here is to purge this world of Scriptweavers. Now that you've awakened your lexicon you're also a fully fledged Scriptweaver just like your classmates. I bet you didn't know a thing about this "scriptweaver" name because the government officials wanted to hide the truth from the younger generation but sooner or later it is going to dawn on them the mistakes they've done for hiding the truth." Shawn explained.

*Present time*

"Ethan get changed we're going for an official meeting with the strongest Scriptweavers in every category around the world." Shawn said and ran towards the small hut they had built signaling Ethan to hurry up. "Ok, sir." Ethan responded with a saluted and followed Shawn.
