Veyra's eyes fluttered open, her rosy cheeks turning pink as she smiled brightly.
"He's manly, just the one I want. Guess my aim to marry a handsome and strong husband might be coming to play..." Veyra mumbled to herself.
But then her demeanor changed as she recalled the BloodSiphon Blade she had seen with him.
"That is alarming. Since the game launched and I started playing, this is the first time I've witnessed something that emits such strong bloodthirst. That blade needs to be tamed. Perhaps this is the time for me to showcase my witch's power, assist that NPC of mine, and cleanse the blade..."
"Now, let me see if he'll complete the fifth test and when done, log out," she muttered, focusing on the spectral orb.
Unbeknownst to Lionel, someone had claimed him an NPC, but he was neither fully NPC nor entirely human. He was an entity in-between—an anomaly in the system.
