In a universe far from human reach, Yahweh, the God of the angels, created seven houses of angels to govern his creation. Each house was given a specific task: one guarded the earth, one controlled the water and air, and one oversaw life and death. However, Yahweh also created humans, weak but special creatures who were given souls, something that even the angels did not have. The soul was a divine spark, giving humans unlimited potential.
Among the angels, there was a noble leader, Lucifer, who saw humans wandering the earth aimlessly. He felt sympathy and, together with a number of other angels, decided to teach humans knowledge, creativity, and understanding. However, this action violated Yahweh's command that forbade angels from showing themselves to humans. Their decision to help humans instead provoked the wrath of heaven.
Yahweh sent messengers from heaven to denounce the rebellion of Lucifer and his followers. The rebellious angels were cursed along with humans. Humans were given death, disease, and suffering as recompense for their cooperation with the angels. But Lucifer and the fallen angels stood firm, believing that they were right because they acted out of love and concern for humanity.
A great battle ensued in heaven, where the rebels tried to resist the divine power. Yahweh, in His eternity, needed only a slight touch to shatter reality. The perfect universe was transformed into a world of destruction and decay. The rebels were eventually defeated, chained, and thrown into the Pit. However, Lucifer, their leader, was nowhere to be seen when the gates of Hell closed. To this day, no one knows what happened to Lucifer—whether he went into hiding, was killed, or simply transcended existence.
After centuries of regret and anger, a few fallen angels found a small hole in Hell that allowed them to escape. They now find themselves in the modern world, a world far removed from the one they once knew. Each of them must possess the body of a recently deceased human in order to remain in this world, rediscovering the human emotions of joy, sadness, and love that they had once denied.
But this new world is full of despair, and human belief is their source of strength. Some seek redemption, seeking to guide humanity to the right path, hoping that Yahweh will forgive them. There are also those who are even deeper trapped in anger and darkness, seeing the world as a place to take revenge on Yahweh who has abandoned them.
They call themselves "The Fallen", angels torn between two choices: will they help humanity on their journey to perfection or destroy everything and challenge Yahweh's power once again?
In a world of chaos and unbridled ambition, the fallen angels find their existence inextricably tied to that of humanity. They cannot survive without their trust, a spark of faith that allows them to tap into the divine power they once possessed. But relationships with humans are not easy; the human spirit is fragile, and they often fall victim to greed, hatred, and fear. Some of the Fallen see humans as friends, while others see them as tools to be used to rebuild their power.
Among the Fallen, there are various houses or factions that have formed based on their former roles. There are those known as the Devourers, angels who were once given power over all the wild life in the universe. Now, they roam among humans, gathering power through their connection to nature and the forest. Devourers often possess the souls of those dedicated to nature—forest rangers, environmental activists, even fellow humans seeking justice for a broken earth.
On the other side, there are the Devils, archangels of the first order who carry within them the light of God's glory. Today, they walk among politicians, celebrities, and public figures hungry for influence. They use their charisma to change the world to suit their vision, trying to create a new order amidst the chaos of the modern world. For some of them, humans are mere pawns to be manipulated to support their agenda, reinforcing the hierarchy they believe should exist.
However, not all fallen angels have lost their conscience. Some have chosen the path of redemption, known as the Reconcilers. They no longer wish to fight Yahweh, but seek forgiveness, remembering their lost glory. The Reconcilers walk among the suffering, giving hope to those most at a loss. Though they know that a return to heaven is nearly impossible, they believe that by saving human souls, they are atone little by little for their own sins.
Among them, there are the Cryptics, seekers of truth, who believe that their former rebellion may have been part of Yahweh's plan. They are obsessed with knowledge and try to understand what really happened in the heavenly war. The Cryptics seek clues in this world, interacting with humans who seek wisdom and knowledge. They approach philosophers, scientists, and even independent thinkers, hoping that they can unlock the hidden mysteries of God and the purpose of creation.
In the shadows of all this conflict, lurk a few of the hateful Fallen Ones, known as the Raveners. They reject this broken world, believing that total destruction is the only way out. They walk among the despairing and nihilistic humans, fostering destruction and conflict, hoping that if enough destruction is done, Yahweh or his heavenly hosts will intervene.
And so, in a world filled with human ambition and insatiable desires, the fallen angels continue to move behind the scenes, guiding, manipulating, or destroying. They still search for their true purpose, wondering if their past sacrifices really mattered, or if they are forever trapped in damnation and suffering. Some begin to believe that perhaps forgiveness and peace can only be found if they can fix this world, while others prepare for a final war that will test the limits of divine and mortal power, reuniting them with Yahweh—the God they have long since abandoned.
