Ethan had been spending more time with Anya at the hospital since her condition had worsened. He would come to visit her every day, bringing her flowers and reading her favorite books aloud to her. Despite her illness, their love for each other continued to grow stronger with each passing day.
One day, when Anya was feeling a little better, Ethan decided to take her outside for some fresh air. He had asked for permission from the doctors and had arranged for a wheelchair to take her around. Anya was excited to finally see the world outside the hospital walls.
As they rolled out of the hospital room, the warmth of the sun embraced them. Anya closed her eyes, savoring the feeling of the sun's rays on her skin. Ethan wheeled her around the hospital garden, pointing out the different flowers and plants.
"You know," Anya said, "even though I'm stuck here in this wheelchair, being able to experience these little moments with you makes me so happy."
Ethan smiled, his heart swelling with love for her. "I feel the same way," he said, taking her hand in his.
As they continued their walk, Ethan would stop at different spots to let Anya admire the view. They even found a little pond with some ducks swimming in it. Anya couldn't help but giggle at the sight of the ducks quacking and splashing around.
For a moment, they forgot about Anya's illness and the struggles they faced. They were just two people in love, enjoying each other's company and the simple pleasures of life.
"I never knew how much I needed you until I met you," Ethan said, looking deeply into her eyes.
Anya blushed and smiled, feeling overwhelmed with love for him. "I feel the same way," she said softly.
Their connection only grew stronger with each passing day, and they cherished every moment they had together.
Ethan walks with Anya around the hospital garden, pushing her wheelchair gently. The sun shines brightly overhead, casting a warm glow over everything around them.
Anya smiles at Ethan, grateful for his presence. She takes in the beauty of the garden, admiring the colorful flowers and the way the leaves rustle in the breeze. Suddenly, she notices a beautiful yellow flower growing nearby.
"Ethan, look at that flower," she says, pointing to the yellow bloom.
Ethan walks over to it and carefully plucks the flower from its stem. He holds it up to Anya's hair and gently tucks it behind her ear.
"There," he says, admiring the way the bright yellow contrasts with her dark hair. "You look even more beautiful now."
Anya blushes and smiles, feeling her heart swell with happiness. She leans her head against Ethan's shoulder, savoring the moment.
"I'm so grateful for you, Ethan," she says softly. "You make every day better."
Ethan turns his head and plants a gentle kiss on her forehead. "I'm grateful for you too, Anya. You've taught me so much about love and strength."
They sit in the garden for a while longer, enjoying each other's company and the beauty of the flowers around them. And though they know their time together is limited, they both vow to cherish every moment and make the most of the time they have.
After a while, Ethan gently pushed Anya's wheelchair up the hallway, heading towards her room. It had been a long day, but he was happy to have spent it by her side. As they approached her door, he stopped the wheelchair and turned to face her.
"Are you comfortable?" he asked, looking at her with a soft smile.
Anya nodded and returned his smile. "Yes, thank you," she said. "I had a wonderful time with you today."
"I'm glad," Ethan said, his smile widening. "I had a wonderful time too."
He leaned forward and gently kissed her forehead, causing her to blush. "Get some rest now," he said softly, placing his hand on hers. "I'll see you tomorrow."
Anya nodded, feeling her heart flutter at his touch. "Thank you, Ethan," she whispered as he turned to leave.
He looked back at her and grinned. "Anytime, Anya," he said, before walking out of the room, closing the door softly behind him.
As Ethan walked out of the hospital, he couldn't hold back his tears. He had to leave Anya behind, and the thought of not seeing her every day broke his heart.
When he arrived home, his mother noticed his red eyes and tear-stained cheeks. She opened her arms, and Ethan rushed into them, crying uncontrollably.
"Shh, shh, it's okay," his mother whispered, holding him tight. "What happened, Ethan? Did something go wrong at the hospital?"
Ethan shook his head, unable to speak. His mother sat him down on the couch and stroked his hair, waiting patiently for him to calm down.
Finally, Ethan was able to speak. "I had to leave her there," he choked out, tears streaming down his face. "I don't know when I'll see her again."
His mother hugged him tighter, feeling his pain. "It's hard, I know," she said softly. "But you have to stay strong for her, Ethan. She needs you to be strong and support her, no matter what."
Ethan nodded, taking deep breaths to try and calm himself down. He knew his mother was right, and he couldn't let his emotions get the better of him. He wiped his tears and hugged his mother one more time before going to his room to rest.
But even as he lay down on his bed, he couldn't shake the thought of Anya from his mind. He knew he had to be strong for her, but it was easier said than done.
Ethan couldn't sleep. Thoughts of Anya and their time together filled his mind, and he found himself overwhelmed with emotion. He sat at his desk, pencil in hand, and started to compose a song for her.
As the night passed, Ethan poured his heart and soul into the lyrics and melody. The song was a tribute to Anya, to their love, and to the memories they shared. He sang softly to himself as he wrote, trying to capture every nuance of their relationship in the words.
As the sun began to rise, Ethan finally put down his pencil. He read over the lyrics and smiled, feeling that the song truly captured the essence of their love. He knew that Anya would love it.
With tears in his eyes, Ethan sang the song to himself one more time. He felt a sense of peace wash over him as he poured out his heart through the music. It was a bittersweet moment, as he longed to be with Anya, but knew that he had to be patient and wait for her to recover.
Ethan made a promise to himself to play the song for Anya as soon as she was well enough. He knew that it would bring her joy and comfort, and he hoped that it would show her just how much he loved her. With that thought in mind, Ethan finally drifted off to sleep, feeling a sense of contentment and hope for the future.
