Thrain's gaze remained fixed on Elyra as the others exchanged uncertain glances, clearly eager to return to the settlement. But Thrain wasn't about to let this opportunity slip away.
"You still haven't introduced yourself properly," he said, his tone calm but firm. "The Keeper of Flames, not the herbalist? Why didn't you reveal that earlier? And why do you look so young when your hair tells a different story?" His voice held a mixture of curiosity and skepticism.
The Bijins exchanged uneasy looks, clearly uncomfortable with his direct approach, while Daelan folded his arms, silently observing the exchange. It was evident that the others were ready to leave and felt this wasn't the time for more questions. But Thrain stood his ground, unwilling to leave without answers.
Better now than never, he thought.
