"So, this is what you've been hinting at? Creatures like that?" Daelan muttered, irritation seeping through his tone as he adjusted his damp clothing.
"Of course," Elyra replied smoothly, her expression bordering on amusement. "Though I'm honestly surprised the so-called Lead Sentinel wasn't aware of it."
Daelan bristled, narrowing his eyes. "I know about the creatures," he snapped, "but I never thought some would be as massive as dragons."
"What a leader," Elyra quipped, shrugging. "And for the record, I told you, that wasn't even the largest one."
