Chapter 52: "Flamepierced Demise"
Thrain darted across the battlefield, his every move desperate and precise, evading the relentless onslaught of Erevan's flames. It felt less like a fight and more like a hunt, a predator circling its prey. Erevan's flames moved like living creatures, twisting and striking with the cunning of a hawk, while Thrain dodged, defended, and countered like a desperate rabbit in a den of fire. Whenever he found a moment, he lashed back with bursts of flames, but they were quickly intercepted or overpowered. More often than not, his attacks only served to buy him seconds before the barrage resumed.
"How much mana do these two even have?! Especially the prince!" the commentator exclaimed, his voice a mix of awe and disbelief. "He's been on the defensive for so long, yet he's still fighting back with precision! Where is he drawing this strength from?! And Erevan, his energy seems endless, like a furnace that just won't burn out!"
