After about twenty minutes of driving he arrives at the bar, Da spot.
He pays the taxi driver and head inside. He sits at a random table and takes out his phone to message Ade.
Samuel : I'm here already, are you almost here?
After a minute Ade finally replies
Ade : sorry for the late reply bro I'm driving, I'm almost there give me a few minutes.
Samuel : no problem, okay I'm waiting.
Ade : okay.
He leaves the chat room and plays a game just to keep him busy.
A waitress came to his table.
"Do you need anything sir?" She asked with her voice so mesmerizing Samuel had to look up
He was shocked because it seemed her outfit or uniform was a size or two smaller than her making her impressive figure stick tightly to her uniform.
She looked more like a seductress than a waiter but as a gentleman that he is he just places all those thoughts aside and spoke.
"I don't want to order anything till my friend gets here " he says to the waitress slash seductress
"Okay, if you need anything let me know" she says to him with a wink.
"Okay" he replies to not seem like a weirdo who doesn't understand. She then walks away putting in a very mesmerizing behind show I mean she walks away to continue her work.
"What's up bro?" A masculine voice broke him out his his trance.
He looks to the side to see Ade taking his sit.
"I'm good, now that your here let's start drinking." Samuel says
" Yh* be says looking around till he finds a waitress to take their order. "Waitress!"
The waitress approaches them to take their order. When Samuel saw he race he k ew it was the waitress he saw before but something puzzled him. Her clothes were now the appropriate size and she didn't even look at him as if she didn't know him . Although the body should be the same the clothes were not.
Still puzzles Samuel rubbed his eyes with his hands to make sure he his seeing clearly.
He could clearly remember that awesome waist and the shirt barely holding in her.....
"Samuel what do you wanna order?" Ade asked facing the zones out young man.
He turns to Ade then to the waitress who was now facing him but from the expression on her face seemed to have nothing to do with him. He avoided asking questions that would make him look weird and answered facing. " Tequila."
"Okay I'll be right back."the waitress said before leaving to get their drinks.
"Are you okay? You zoned out while she was taking my order." Ade asked wondering what could cause his friends weird behavior
"It's nothing, I gutless I'm just a bit tired" samuel replies wavimg his hands.
"If you say so." Ade says dropping the matter and deciding not to think about it.
" Oh I forgot to tell you, I invited ire to join us. Before you say anything, you know we area trio not a duo and she deserves to be here." Samuel says
"Well if you put it like that I guess you are right." Ade says accepting the facts.
" And besides, I think it's high time you take your shot before someone else comes to swoop her away from your hands" Samuel says giving Ade an accusing look.
Ade feels guilty as he looks at his best friend while trying to keep his look normal. He knows about his feelings and also knows he is keeping it suppressed for the sake of his own happiness. He decides it's best to let the cat out of the bag today.
"Okay bro I'll try my best." Ade says giving a wey smile.
The waitress comes back with their drinks and stot glasses. She places them on the table and leaves.
Wanting to move past the awkward situation, Ade took the bottles and pour a shot each for both of them.
"Before we start this I wanted to tell you that I gave the supervisor your documents and .... He told me you have the job. All you need to do is submit an e-copy of each to the documents to the company and fill in your information when you come tomorrow then you're all good." Ade breaks good news to him.
Samuel was so happy he was finding it difficult to hold his shot glass.
Ade smiled at the sight and continued "that's not the best part. Your salary is three million naira monthly that's without special tasks. It will also be paid tomorrow when you start work."
Samuel really wanted to throw his cup away and shoot at the top of his voice but he suppressed everything into two heart felt words."thank you."
Ade chuckling, replies "no problem bro, no problem. Now we toast, to new beginnings."
The clicked their cups and down their drink
"Ahh"
"ahh" they both exhaled feeling the cold gin going down their throat
"To girls " they both chuckled to that and drank.

"To wealth "they downed two cups each this toast because it's special
"To finding good women" just as they were about to drink Samuel interrupted.
"I haven't found one" he says
"We're you looking for one?" Ade asks him giving him an accusing look
"Fair point" Samuel admits defeat then then down their drink.
"Wow I forgot how good this stuff was" Samuel says as he puts his cup down.
"If you didn't work all the time you wouldn't forget. Don't worry now that you can work from home most of the time you'll be able enjoy drinks well." Ade replied chuckling
"Yeah, I guess. I'm moving into my own place very soon so you know any good real estate agents I can hire?" Samuel asks
"I got you covered. You can come live in neighborhood. There are still some vacant houses and the pay is a hundred thousand a month ." Ade said nonchalantly taking another shot.
If you must know Samuels former salary was just one hundred and twenty thousand
Although he could now afford the house he still feels weird.
"You boys started without me?" A beautiful familiar feminine voice attracted their attention.
