As expected my group had 3 D ranks, 2 C ranks, 1 B Rank, 1 A rank and 1 As Rank.
I was a part of the D rankers at the bottom and my number was at 8th meaning i was the weakest among the group.
My matchups were 1,7,5,6,4,3,2
.
That was the order i was going to fight in, Looks like, I'll be facing an AS rank right off the bat.
It doesn't seem like it'll go well...
It's like being very confident about acing an exam and the very first question is a College level Question.

It just came to me outta nowhere lol...

Anyway, Things aren't looking promising and as expected he seemed too high level, I couldn't even graze him and i was destroyed even before i could use my bullets.
damnit, That's 1 match 1 Loss...
it's very Important that i concentrate on the upcoming matches...
He threw his sword at full force at me and i managed to Dodge it, thanks to my Precision skill...
But, i pulled the trigger but he swiftly cut the bullet into two and smashed my neck with the back of his sword.
it didn't even feel like a match.
I was far too weak to even graze an AS rank.
I Just have to make sure i don't end up in the last.
There are around 3 exams held every year and out of those 3 exams, 250 of them get eliminated every exam.
Those 250 are chosen from the bottom in every group.
There are a total of 500 members that end up in the bottom Which is usually Number 8 and they go to the elimination round.
It is a battle royale where the last 250 survivers will survive.
So, I'll need to make sure i don't end up at the bottom that way I'll survive.
Right now, i don't think i have a problem with getting past the first year, but I'll need to get high Ratings and for that I'll need to beat the C rankers.
So, just surviving won't be enough since I'll be in deep trouble if i stay at Class D even by the end of The year.
because, by the end of the year almost all the D rankers will be eliminated.
It is that kind of an academic Tournament where the strong prey on the weak.
Battle royale is simple really, They will shove 500 Bottom dwellers into a single big room where you have to take out your enemy and at the same time you have to survive.
If you don't Kill your opponent in the first 10 Mins you'll be disqualified and expelled.
And, death doesn't mean literal death...
The moment it feels like your life is in Jeopardy a watch on your hand will ring and create a barrier near you.
after that it teleports you back to the academy. That way you won't face deadly Injuries.
Afterall, even these D rankers are not cannon fodder but the elite 4000 Students in their age.
They are by no means Useless. They are a force to be reckoned with.
Each one of them is powerful enough to atleast foght a lower rank demon.
A d ranked academy Candidate can fight atleast a C ranked Demon.
That's how powerful each of them are.
That's what I'm really worried about.
I who has no battle experience am going to fight these Monsters.
Even a D ranked person is very strong, so...
how can i win, That always crosses my mind.
But, i have the resolve, I've trained with Miss Sofia alot so I'm sure i can deal with this.
And so, my second battle started... It was a D ranked Archer.
As he seemes to carry a Bow on his shoulder.
He walked towards me and gave a provocative smirk.
"Aren't i lucky to get this failure of an Academy student."
he said... This bit'h, that look of superiority infuriates me.
I'll turn this bitch into Minced meat...

He threw an arrow at great precision as it grazed me eye a bit before it missed.
This bch... He's strong, especially his control with The Bow...
But, I'm stronger
*Bang* as i shot a bullet his way, he easily dodged it...
"Is that all-"
as he looked at with a smirk on his face, his face turned pale as he looked at another bullet coming at rapid speed right at his face.
Before it burst right in front of him.
"What?"
he said bewildered i moved away and shot two bullets on his left and right.
They both exploded right before his left and right.
"Can you not even aim your Gun properly? Hah, Hwat a loser."
He added, this time i took a dagger that was placed at my left pocket and threw him.
He backed away in hopes of dodging it but the momebt it reached the exploded area it suddenly paced up at rapid speed.
Going straight at his face.
"What?"
I swiftly moved from left to right as i threw 2 more daggers at him...
They were low grade daggers which were easy to get so, i didn't have to burn much money to rent them from the Weapons store right below the Ariena.
As they 3 reached the exploded area, Their speed got almost thriple the Speed at which i threw it at
He dodged 2 of them but he couldn't dodge the 3rd and before it could pierce his head the watch on his wrist resounded as a barrier put up in front of him and the dagger didn't reach him.
The monment the shield came out and protected him, The match was over.
because that wasn't a spell of his but a mana barrier put up to protect the Students from extreme danger.
That meant i'd won the fight.
And, that's pretty huch how i'd won my 2nd match.
